I am Russian and write my poems mostly in Russian. Most poems that I post here are my own translation of my Russian poems.
I wrote my first poem in childhood. It was a short poem about winter. I did not write anything else after that until I fell in love for the first time as a teenager. From that time I began to write poems again mostly lyrics.
When someone or something in my life causes strong feelings and emotions, I often begin to express them in rhyme, so my poems are born.
One day I discovered the American violinist Lindsey Stirling, and she impressed me so much that I wrote a poem for her in English. That was my first meaningful poem in English. From that time I began to translate my Russian poems into English and post them on this portal.
