Our World
I know you exist in this world;
You know I also exist somewhere,
But our ways to each other are hidden;
We can find no trace of them anywhere.
In the changeable colors of nature,
In the evening lights nearby
We look for our reflection
In the glances of passers-by.
We scattered our thoughts
On a lot of different ways;
They, intertwining together,
Lead us to each other always.
On the waves of the thoughts,
On the tailwinds of destiny
We try to find the current
Where our daydreams are in harmony.
Our daydreams became the dreams;
They came to us in our dreams,
And, so we each other could recognize,
They revealed our souls to our eyes.
In a dream we met and went,
Holding the hands without end,
And our world of sorrow and sadness
Filled with the colors and gladness.
And there was only the rain where,
Washing away all our dreams;
The sun warms us now there;
We admire the rainbow in sunbeams.
The stars shine in the sky while
The moon is reflected in our eyes;
We give each other a smile
And together watch the sunrise.
I exist in this world for you;
You also exist in it for me,
But this magnificent world
Only in our dreams can be.
Having awakened in the morning,
We’ll soon forget about our dream,
Forget about how we walked
Together in our dream.
And again we dream of the dreams
That brought us together in our dreams,
Trying to find those ways where they
Would come true for us some day.
We are going to search tirelessly,
And our ways will meet sometime;
We’ll look into each other’s eyes
And see our world at this time.
