Sarah Jabri Poem
Come to me my dancing love
I have waited oh so patiently
Que in the Cha Cha my darling
Waltz your way towards me
Set the music in burning fire
Bring your Salsa closer to me
Tango your body around me
And release the Rumba in you

Sarah Jabri Poem
My fantasies are lost;
Into the wild I could not chase.
Closing my eyes, I desired for your touch.
I felt your fingers running through my hair.
I shivered to your soft lips touching my skin.
I longed for your kisses.
Drawing me closer and closer,
A vision of flaming red sheets in the air -
I followed your scent.
In your black, rolled up, half buttoned shirt and jeans,
You light the burning fire in me.
And into your blue eyes, I fully submit.
You pulled and pushed me; walls against my back.
Sending chills once more, your face touched my cheek;
I heard your silent whispers of want.
You grabbed my hair and our hearts raced.
Without a beat skipped, I drowned.
To your vigorous, passionate kiss; I responded.
To your soft, powerful touch; I melted.
To your breaths, I surrendered.

Sarah Jabri Poem
I have not seen it all
I have however, heard them
I heard their voices
I heard their laughter
I heard their cries
I heard them speak
From corners to corners
I heard them dancing
I heard them singing
I heard them call for the skies
I heard them seek
For a solace of every form
I heard them all
.
.
.
Then I heard nothing

Sarah Jabri Poem
Late of '56, a run through time I'll take
In your sweet blue shorts and top
You stopped my time and said
"Mister, a ticket for 1 if you please
I have this night all for myself,
So I'm taking my chances".
And I stood till the night ends,
At the front door of the movies
Hoping you'd notice,
The silly brown eyed man in me.
So here I am taking my chances,
Walked straight right up and said
"I hope you don't mind,
but you stopped my time for a while,
and I know this is silly,
But lady if you'd let me,
may I walk you home?".
Time came, I knew you well
You held my hand and stayed
Here we are taking our chances
Hoping they'd do the same
(country lyric)

Sarah Jabri Poem
A thousand years ago
My children’s children bore life
Indeed, silence they have brought
But silence they have slain
And they swam oceans and seas
Journeyed through the sands
Stopped by the shadows
And lit no light
I watched my children’s children
Bore another life
And I prayed to the suns and moons
As the sky dances to its tunes
My prayers begun as I begged
“Do not undo time, do not slay my sons
My daughters will bear children
You shall soon see light”
And my prayers were heard
But a price I must pay
“You will watch your children
Bathe on your own blood”
And a thousand years later
My children stopped at none
I watched them part ways
I watched them day and night
They drenched to each other’s blood
They made love to one another’s wife
Raising soldiers from sons
Bathing daughters to be brides
But a parent could only bare such
Questioning one’s own love
Seeking answers never to be found
Sleepless nights to endless thoughts
And I stood between two paths
Calling from the sands of time
Summoning all ashes and bones
Rise, my sleeping warriors of just

Sarah Jabri Poem
Such a start of a new journey
To the excitement of burning love
To the thrill of awaiting adventures
We cheered to moments of sweet whispers
To the late night stops by the gas stations
To all the road trips and few hours of sleeps
To the fireworks of how young the nights were
We cheered to the moments the time froze
To the days we yearned for each others hugs
To the cold nights we hoped for each others warmth
To the memory we longed to travel back to
We teared to each others lost promises
To when our dreams travelled too far
To a land where words don't mean anymore
To where we left our echoed voices
To a land where we once stood
We cheered to a new beginning.

Sarah Jabri Poem
Ring, ring, ring ~ my phone rang in the middle of the night
I picked it up, my voice as pale as a ghost so white
"Melissa, it's Jason...meet me at the park in half an hour"
My boyfriend of 3 years, what could he want this very hour?
I wasted not a moment, I'm set and grabbed my keys
I hurried down the stairs and nearly fell on my knees
I'm nervous as hell, couldn't stop wondering of what's going on
On my way, I prayed "Lord, let this be of light's dawn".
I made it just in time, I saw him standing by a tree
I walked closer, my face full of questions deeper than a sea
He stared at me with eyes so silent, his body in a freeze
I searched his mind but nothing to find, I felt the wind's cold breeze.
He reached for my hand and handed me a piece
"Open it Melissa, please...Don't let my warm heart miss,
A smile of yours, or tears that I someday may no longer see"
I shed tears of yes as he went on his knee...
"Happy Anniversary, Will You Marry Me?"

Sarah Jabri Poem
I’ve got a funny story here
I want to share it with you
You see, there’s this little girl I know
Met her just on the outside of town
She said lady will you walk with me
I’m lost and please help me
I don’t know which way to go
Can’t find my mom and dad and bro
And I said,
Someone once walked this
path with me and she’s not here anymore
So before I let go, let me walk this path with you
We held hands and she heard me say,
Where have I run all these years?
Where have I gone all these years?
Seems I have nowhere else to go
Seems I don’t know when to let go
Will it be alright if I come home?
She tightly held my hand and whispered,
Lady I’ll walk this path with you
So come on and don’t let go
We'll walk and we’ll take it slow
You walk with me and I'll walk with you
We held hands and she heard me say
Where have I run all these years?
Where have I gone all these years?
Seems I have nowhere else to go
Seems I don’t know when to let go
Will it be alright if I come home?
This is my stop now, lady
Now it’s time for me to go
I’ll be alright now, this is my home
Now it’s time for you to go
It’s alright if you don’t let go
Your heart will know when it’s time to go
And I said
Where have I run all these years?
Where have I gone all these years?
Seems I have nowhere else to go
Seems I don’t know when to let go
Will it be alright if I come home?
Oh, where have I run all these years?
Where have I gone all these years?
Seems I have nowhere else to go
Seems I don’t know when to let go
Will it be alright if I come home?

Sarah Jabri Poem
One do not seek what brightness cannot reach
And one do not speak what words cannot preach
And not a class of his own has rights of one's speech
So shall rightness be gain to each of his own beseech.
To be of innocent reasoning, a soulful cannot deny
What words of heart and deeds of rights can comply
And so to one's joy of cry, to another a tearful decry
And to what it may seem, many have tried but gone awry.
So to say forth, a character shall never do
To seek of matters where it shan't be accrue
A forsaken wisdom we livings threw
And what to not hold is a challenge to not redo.

Sarah Jabri Poem
Into the light Daddy...
Please give me your trust.
Hold my hand tightly Daddy...
I wont let you shower with dust.
I miss you so much Daddy...
How I wish you're walking me down the aisle,
Your little girl's a Mom now Daddy..
A boy named after you, I wish you could see his first smile.
Walk this path with me Daddy...
I promise you the road is much better.
And don't worry about me Daddy...
You taught me a lot, thank you for being the best father.
I know you are safe now Daddy...
But it still hurts now that you are gone.
I still cry a lot and wishing for your hugs Daddy...
I'm sorry for all the pain,
I will always love you, My Daddy.
