Taking Chances

Late of '56, a run through time I'll take In your sweet blue shorts and top You stopped my time and said "Mister, a ticket for 1 if you please I have this night all for myself, So I'm taking my chances". And I stood till the night ends, At the front door of the movies Hoping you'd notice, The silly brown eyed man in me. So here I am taking my chances, Walked straight right up and said "I hope you don't mind, but you stopped my time for a while, and I know this is silly, But lady if you'd let me, may I walk you home?". Time came, I knew you well You held my hand and stayed Here we are taking our chances Hoping they'd do the same (country lyric)
