Very interesting write Sarah. It would be interesting to know where the inspiration for this came from. It leaves you wondering what caused the silence. A thought provoking piece.

Even more zen-like than the first one! I love how you captured the brevity and fleeting sound of voices, as the reverberations die out. Almost reminds me of the little "bong" sound you hear when some hits a gong ... like a light-bulb going off in your head. Intriguing.
