Waiting Hearts

A familiar sensation lingers, a sense of repetition,
Yet, does it carry significance?
A motion unveils its path in a certain direction,
Guiding me onwards...
time to watch my movements, closer.
Yearned for a longer embrace as time elapsed,
Did you ever glimpse my real?
Perceived future forged, traced in the footprints of past...
Ran to the hills,
left standing, 'true love' doesn't exist,
I still bear the love you want,
Without, it's quicker destruction.
No need for concern, just acknowledging the path my feet firmly tread.
Living in the moment, stories of content,
My pace differs from yours, and strength has limitations.
In my journey's culmination, it's your presence I yearn for by my side,
You already know this.
It is not like it was never said... throughout.

Have I got a long way to run
Collective soul*

Old World

I've turned on the light
my eyes move to focus
this world can not be bleak no more
the deep sounds tremble
helicopters pass by
media scattered abrupt as if a hellish creature roars
I'll tell you a story about a world, an old world
there's not just one world
In this place there is no such thing as space
it all ascends with grace ...them and I included
Our own entire journey
here, the past but not all has been forgotten
though adapted and changed
the downtrodden can be as powerful as them all
sadly the instinct paths have been corrupted
watching the numbers on our backs sooner or later fall
A small group of us are making a stand
we've put aside what we've discovered
contradictive differences within our skin
Our heartbeats as a collective
it's our destiny to bring down our hierarchy
...stop the recording...
So I thought, "change" hmm one once wished
from the rubble between my feet to the love one that sleeps
Did I cause this? Was this inevitable, it this what means to "be"?
Do I just adapt to change, who are we truly to have a say...
I suppose I can take comfort in knowing
The good will always prevail.

Heart's Tango

You can rip my heart out,
Stamp upon the ground,
Give it an hour,
Returned loving sounds.

Lost and found,
Where shall I lay?
Give and take,
Content on either way.

Remaining in the dark,
A place I have always laid,
The glimpses of light are few and far between,
Haven't asked where upon you take me.

Going with feeling,
A reflection on what might be,
Easily led,
Prop me up again.

Entering another circle,
How will this one end?
...Started well, discussed colors,
Not exciting enough?

Formulating a plan, is that what's needed?
If a certain result should surface but I am not,
I am here,
Never asked to be taken out of my slumber.

Damn your power!
Back facing the ground,
Pick me up and dust me off,
My energy knows no bounds.

I'll end up feeling it tomorrow, no doubt,
Act my way out of this,
No longer heart on the sleeve,
Obviously my truth is not wanted,
Whatever that is.

Beyond the Horizon

Let's push the borders of reality
Of knowing what's wrong or right
Without an agenda that makes
The sheep follow closely behind
What is it like to fly with limitless sight?
Knowledge or wisdom dictates one's life
Reaching one's death bed saying "Now I see"
Do their eyes close
Laying to rest in eternity?
Floating between the waves of a whirlpool
Heading towards darkness
A bottomless pit or uncovering light?
Navigation lost
Where then "destination" I hear one cry
Come down from the crow's nest
The cold touch of the reaper
Or loved one's twinkle in their eye
"Let's rally together"
No journey should be undertaken alone
Flipped narrative
The phoenix still has its wings
The sun is our portal to a new life
We've made it to crystal waters and white glass
No longer succumb to fear
Locking away our secrets
All aboard confusion just to repeat
"Face me, anger"
Determined
We know our answers
Just keep that mirror away from me.

Flower

Like a seed, begins and ends
the soil is a friend to me I grow to break free
Shall the sun shine upon thee?
I point in its direction can not wait to blossom
Feel frightened though as my essence will be taken
So many souls flying above
This is my place I laid beneath for far to long
Let me stretch my wings
Purpose is to show beauty
If only for a short time
At least I can say I've been here
Is that not the most important thing?
Not another soul can take that away
I've made my mark like it or not
I have had a place within it all
...Now was it pre-chosen?
THAT IS the question.
Never been answered, beauty shall shine again
If not me... It will be continued
Always call them your sisters and brothers
I've reached that sunlight it does not burn,
in need of more
Losing colour I am starting to bend over
facing the ground I can not see the sun..
I am returning to where the journey began
I guess I shall never flourish
At least not in this land
I long to be planted again.

The Illusion of Control

So the stretch of selfishness knows no distance
once triggered,
can one lose sight of what they've always wanted?
I accept I am not on your shoulders.
Grabbing him, slapping him senseless
"Look at what you had". Different dimensions,
forgiving the averted from the importance
of not judging with question,
only in this moment!
Seems like the majority these days need to be told,
values and morals lost.
No doubt it's "always" been.
Hence why thy assumption is not to promise without
at least some substance,
and yet, this fellow man had this. No excuses then.
With all I deal with I have trouble on
knowing how he can sleep at night.
Disastrous abrupt self awareness occurs
...What am I doing?
Am I propping myself up to appear from her corner of her eye
to the center of her attention?
Oh how "one" can forget themselves in an instant,
smitten, I laugh
Those days are long gone
...though fairytales can still be enjoyable.
No matter how one feels pain,
there is no right and wrong on any shoulders...
Only perception

Unnoticed Elegance

Delicate flower of thine,
How could one shun thy beauty,
With so much ease from sun fall to sunrise,
Escaping ignorant eyes.
Blinding yet giving needs without fail,
One does question the mind at the port of call.
What else can go unnoticed?
Your striking appearance has no match,
Now and forth in any moment.
Mournful until petals fall.
Gracefully threes, admiration upon lip.
The Greeks spoken word "virility",
Sophisticated purity without thorns.
There is naught alike, for that it works,
Thoughts spoken amongst the divine.
No constraints, awareness, and sanity reached, supreme authority.
Exotic as well as a powerful message to our lost!
I'll forever quench your thirst till all our bitter ends follow closely, thoughtfulness.
An orchid is love
You are the light within the unclean dark.

Black Mirror

A stranger's haunting gaze
I noticed their eyes question my presence
They ruminate
I'll show them my wave
Where have I taken me?
Thoughts upon another within an uncomfortable procedure
Breaking through the once normal to achieving the better
Can it be possible, I do wonder
In the baggage unknowing of others, fleeting glimmers,
Releasing to forget forever for a brighter replacement
Beaten into the ground, scars to show, odds of letting go I do ponder
For the appreciation from another
Can then we find our worth together?
Or am I getting led "down the garden path"?
Poring over the stars to a delusional future
Far too long from "want", is this lust?
Can I rise above my imperfections to enhance my persisting strength
Felt from afar within another's affinity?
Can it continue?
Truth will show eventually
The stranger's contemplation from being uncertain in other's intentions
From what has been truly felt within
...Do we now have a connection?
Stay away from my darkness!
I would never wish this upon another
As the stranger walks away
To another's black mirror

Forbidden Fruit

Quiet attraction
your overwhelming elegance
all I could do was sit there
blushing could you tell?
No chance in moving just to re-think
the wanting of being elsewhere
I needed one more look before I left
I felt the feeling you wanted that too
sadly head down due to having no view of you
will next time be more difficult?
Awkwardness in a room full of people now your work colleagues becoming aware
it is not so quiet now
Making tales in my head, multiple versions of the way we could meet
In need of seeing you someplace else without eyes watching
without the heat of embarrassment in waiting...
for these thoughts to be said.

Ego

Showing your "power"
standing upon others
coldness on foot
shards of glass and arrogance
reflections so grey
color lost
fake dull greens
care for the environment
a Trojan horse
"Enter thee"
Their choices are not the same as yours
not shouting change
neither in disagreement
Just see!
One's are different to the core
Thoughts, you'll never have fathomed.
There been too much changed
from once comfortable
Fire growing
clouds stirring
Fallen angels no more
switch your intent
You are beautiful upon my eyes
Know the lines are blurred
Continue to stand tall!
You have been here before!
The puzzle begins to make sense
....I can not be negative now, why?!
why you came to me?!
Ego can be ridiculed, still?
Banish from me
"make no sound".
I have too, I tell thee!
We can not be quiet no more.
