For then unlike now
His fists went KAPOW

CRASH: Adam West impresses my gran
BANG: He’s much more than merely ‘Batman’

Everytime

Everytime I pray
Everytime I try
Situation remains the same

Everytime I shed tears
Everytime I put my brain to work
Conditions keeps deteriorating

Everytime I zonk out my energy
Everytime I crack the nuts
State of affairs stays at the insitu

What the is life anyway
It is ups and downs

Fuzzy Socks and Crocs: Hideous

Sand flows much too quickly in that goldarn hour glass
I'm no spring chicken, but I'll have to take a pass
If a guy thinks he rocks
Wearing fuzzy socks and crocs
That nerdy look is just too dorky for this lass

I've had lots of men flirt with me throughout the years
But one dressed like that and I'd be laughing with tears
He'd make an impression
And from my expression
He'd be very embarrassed by guffawing jeers

There's a rumor about Batman going around
When he saw Robin wearing socks and crocs in town
He swatted him with a "ZONK!"
"Why are ya dressed like a punk?"
"Take those hideous things off or you're going down!!"

I've always admired a man who has self respect
One who dresses with class and style, I'd not reject
I'd call him a silver fox
In well-shined shoes, he walks
But in fuzzy socks and crocs, he'd look train wrecked!

Guys, if you want a lady's provocative glance
Invite her to dinner and then share a slow dance
But remember that your shoes
Will give her the helpful clues
She requires to let your flirting lead to romance

Premium MemberRandomling Doorways

Doors one

My thoughts wander
moving from one door to the next
I try my best
Desperately wanting
to make my escape

Doors two

When I opened my door
you were the last person
I mean the very last person
I expected to see
Please take your foot out of my door
we have nothing to talk about

Doors Three

I have studied for years
the art of making a deal
many hours in front of a screen
"I'll take what's behind door number two!"
ZONK..................so sad :0(

For Mary Oliver Rotman's Randomling contest.
I hope I got the form right. Either way I had fun.

Its Only Words

I was looking at some words and their meanings in the dictionary
Some of them are weird and extraordinary

Didgeridoo- Australian Aboriginal musical instrument that can play a tune or two
Ratatouille- Dish of stewed onions, courgettes, tomatoes, Aubergines and peppers, sounds chewy
Splendiferous- good, splendid, or even wonderfullerous
Zonk- tired, exhausted, tipsy, better stay of the plonk
Antidisestablishmentarianism- to object against the severing of links between the church and the state, if you can spell this correctly first time, then I think you are great
pneumonoultramiccroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis_ A dubious disease of the lung, I think you would be out of breath' if this was a lyric in a song

Aren't words wonderful, you can have a lot of funderful

Premium MemberEating Bonbons and Ogling Ladies All Day

Think I'm just gonna bum around today
If you don't mind that old expression
Literally, I'm gonna goof off and waste time
Feeling lazy in a state of vegetation

These days are happening a lot more often
Became a senior, then suddenly plonk
Maybe it's because of my afternoon naps
I watch the tube and then zonk

Need to get active like the good old days
A whipper snapper all full of beans
The world was my oyster, yuck I hated oysters
Wearing skin tight faded blue jeans

Love bumming around, it's good for the soul
It also puts hair on your chest
Now ladies, I really love nice smooth boobies
So ya better stay active I suggest

Phew! Got quite hot and bothered for a bit
At my age, better cool it I'd say
Gonna goof off, waste time, vegetate for a bit
Eating bonbons, ogling ladies all day!
