Premium Member Lover Grandpa

There once was a lonely old poet,
Who wooed women with verses so know-it,
They’d smile and then say,
“You’re charming, dear ye,
But grandpa’s more apt—still, he’ll still show it.”

Premium Member As Kyle was Walking Down the Aisle

as Kyle was walking down the aisle
he tasted disgusting salty green bile
looked up and saw a weird smile on Lyle
Feeling vile, he started to dial.

His bride Wilhemina was dressed in style.
she outclassed him by a city mile
he ran, jumping a massive wood pile
did not return for quite a while

in the meantime, the groomsman named Lyle
wooed Wilhemina in glorious courting style
they picked out dishes and kitchen floor tile
forever a bachelor remained old lonely Kyle

Premium Member wooed by a two ton iowa steer

the two- ton Iowa steer gave me a ***** leer
over hear, dear, come be my ever-loving peer.
Smile sheer, he wore rings in his nose and right ear.
I resolved not to go near until I had consumed my beer.
Nothing to fear bellowed the steer. Over hear dear, over here!

Premium Member A Sense of Belonging

"Romantic lovers require from each other at least the facade
of reason: The desire to be what romantic love makes us
appear in the other's eyes. We want to imagine we are
deserving of the love we inspire." ~Maggie Gallagher

We've been slow dancing—
    romancing in a seductive prelude
Wooed by the cravings in our eyes
    hypnotized in amorous flirt
 Asserting glances sparked by embers
    remembrances of a burning fire

Desire— the remnants of heated passion
    Fashioned whispers, calling our names
claiming our hearts to beat as one
    none has requited or sated

Abated our harvest of love yet to reap
Deep and lonely had been our nights
Blighted from cold and empty arms
Palm to palm we feast on each other
smothered by longing— a sense of belonging

Premium Member mindful eye tranquil heart

as our heart contracts, a thought crystallises
distorted as a fear laced symbol
we look at the event with a nonchalant eye
recognising the play as but an illusion
wooed by bliss magnetism cascading within
we return to the cave of our heart where we dwell

Premium Member Robert Burns 1759-1796

His work is known around the Earth
This ploughman lad of lowly birth
He wooed and won the lassies braw
His Jean the fairest of them aw
He honoured such as mice and men
And friendship flowed beneath his pen
Of parity and justice wrote
A line that I take leave to quote
“That man to man the world o’er
shall brothers be...” can’t ask for more.
Diverse his works, out of his time
The man who gave us “Auld Lang Syne"

Premium Member Love is a Rhythmic Dance of Romance

Love between the two of us is a rhythmic dance, a romance
in the most sensual and subtle prelude we are wooed.
We share amorous flirting without need for words asserting
our intentions but sparked by an ember as we remember
our yearning and burning flames of fire, the wanton desire.

The nights spent together in love's passion, and the fashion
of your whispers on my nape, calling my name as you claim
me as your own. Our hearts beating in sync as one, and none
I've ever known made me feel completely sated. We're fated
to be together without a reason to sever our love. Forever
will we share the last dance, the last kiss, making love like this.

Premium Member It Isn't Always Easy Being Me

I've been frequently right,
And I've often been wrong.
I've had plenty of breaks
And made lots of mistakes,
I've been weak, I've been strong.
Looking back, now, I see
That is my destiny,
What else is there to be
But what I am?

I've been good, I've been bad,
Much more sinner than saint.
I've been wooer and wooed,
I've been misunderstood,
Been called perverse and quaint.
But I do what I love,
And when push comes to shove,
What more is needed to prove
That I am what I am?

There are times I fit in,
Times when I don't belong.
I hear opening chords
And start singing the words
To a whole different song.
But I rise when I fall,
And though my footprint is small,
Still I strive to stand tall
And be all that I am.

Premium Member Who am I

energised by the sun
wooed by the moon
enlivened by magnetism
organic form responds
to tease of the breeze of love
felt by the dweller of our heart

Premium Member I Love You

In my quest for a soulmate

Love became my ultimate goal.
Of the many I've wooed,
Virtually no one moved my heart
Except for one soul...

You, and only you, are that exceptional
One, and I will cherish you
Until the day I die and beyond.

Premium Member Yours Willingly

Dear Paladin Vampire,

I eagerly await our first indulgence,
that initial gaze into charming eyes;
All my life I have loathed being mortal,
for you daylight I would willingly sacrifice;
A courtship beyond my imagination,
rose hip covered sheets and being wooed;
We’ll leave fellow romantics covetous,
my Love offer me this entanglement!
Sunset spray painting us in the sky,
you can taste me and teach me to hunt.
Let’s get lost in a honeymoon of blood,
I’ll be devoted to every taste of it;
Sweep me away any way that you like;
Silken restraints and a neck nip,
few fathom this fetish a part of me;
My Love I have much left to reveal
must this fantasy leave me pining?
I fear more will serve to quell curiosity
so I bid adieu until you come for me;
I could wait but I’d really rather not.

Forever yours willingly,
- Melrose

Premium Member Pearls Pearls Pearls

Reflected in pearls your thoughts reveal
He wooed you to his side with such conceit
Decisions made in haste you can’t conceal
So blinded by his charm and false deceit.

Upon a pedestal you were his queen
Those early days, you thought his love was true
But in the background, kept from you unseen
His cheating ways he covered up from you.

With realisation of his sinful way
You set the trap, and watched with great delight
For your raw heartache he would surely pay
The proof was yours, he’d never win this fight.

They say there’s nothing like a woman scorned
He left with just the shirt upon his back
While in his pearls, you’ll always be adorned
His wealth ensures there’s nothing you will lack

So, heed my story, all you wealthy men
Ensure your pearls are given with pure love
Do not deceive your woman, or you’ll find
You may end up just like the man above.

Premium Member Delicious DeVil

Delicious DeVil, Delicious DeVil
If he's never wooed you, there may be time still
He’ll light the fire underneath your grill
Delicious, delicious DeVil

You may think this devil is too scary
But he's only a lusty man of sin
A passion that burns hotter than the desert
You won't want out once you've been let in

This good looking man, is good with his hands
The last thing you'll think of is your wedding band
So run the other way, resist the thrill
Of this Delicious, delicious DeVil
