The whole Cosmos delights in night dreaming,
Where Sun and Moon entwine in astral projection.
The Cosmos listens to the sky's calling,
Knowing we're part of this great connection.
The forest presents green variety,
For which Moonlight holds great reverence.
Each tree and leaf beckons true piety
As Sunlight shows its high benevolence.
Have you ever felt the Blue Moon's grace,
Or lain beneath the entranced Full Moon?
The sky smiles with Moonlight's magical face,
Shining through the soft trees aligned and tuned.
Healing oneself in nature's vast kingdom
Is to restore the self to wholesomeness.

How many more young men
How many more young women
Must fall victim to those
Sworn to serve the community?
Needless deaths, senseless violence.
Upholders of the law
Laying low the guiltless?
What lies in their hearts
What lies in their minds
What lies do they live by ?
The uniform, their badge of honour
Demeaned by soulless depravity.
Wholesomeness without
Corruption within
In God we trust
The devil in the police detail
We must no longer witness
The cruel loss of young lives
Let Tyre be the last
In such a painful litany
That writ must run no more
Let the beacon of his light
Blaze forth for all to see
Never again such tragedy

Wood nymph was wearing flowers in her hair.
Her eyes were oozing kindness.
She sat still, not speaking.
The animals came to her.
a mouse
two squirrels
three chickadees
a deer
They sensed her love for them
a rabbit hopped by
feeling her wholesomeness
none were fearful, even a tiny bit.

With love comes peace
Bringing a prevailing sense of serenity
With love comes soundness
A voice from within guaranteeing your safety
With love comes admiration
Those little things touching your soul ever so deeply
With love comes wholesomeness
You can feel the merriment in every inch of your body
With love comes warmth
A welcoming feeling that inquires, ‘Are you ready?’
However, with love comes discomfort
The past wounds, not letting your mind free
With love comes apprehension
Will it end tomorrow or last for an eternity?
With love comes fear
Is it finding home? Or is it just another refugee?
With love comes disappointment
When your longings and expectations are shattered repeatedly
With love comes rage
Warning yourself to hold back; all to guard your sanity
With love comes risk
You might lose yourself again or get to live your fantasy
Love comes as a bunch of tangled wires
Now, the question is, who’s worth untangling them for?

SWEET MELODY:
It runs down the soul,
Breaks through every part as it flows.
The ligaments gently position themselves to enclose;
Causes sharp urge in all the bones.
Melts the hardened heart so slow.
Intellectual ability begins to grow.
The eyes suddenly open to aglow,
Immediately music throws a blow.
Its devices are gracious balm.
Rejuvenates the framework to stand.
It beautifully create multiple ambience for meditations,
Which equips spines through sensations.
Its sounds beat out the emotions,
And wholesomeness is felt in magical reflections.
The framework grows actively crazy in motions,
Making the listener jump out to dance.
The lyrical inspirations serve a boost.
The rythms rock like thunderstrike;
Extremely unleashes the hidden brain with a soothe.
The feeling is a strong medicine to the mind.
Yes, music is the soul's food,
Satisfies and replenishes the soul to be
good.

I
You all know her, love her, enjoy them poems
Above all, a people-person, with three homes
I mean home-countries: first is Greece, Jenn's birth
Then there's England, UK: a must for mirth or rebirth
Third, and where I feel her close, South Africa
We share citizenship in RSA, of Nelson Mandela
But Jennifer also reads and enjoys Christopher
And you, you, and also YOU: hats off to her
She visited my poems and left her pixie-dust all o'er
Such generous comments, accolades for my poems
I could send more to each of her homes
Seriously, I find joy in saying thanks Poet Proxenos
For her unique ways to encourage each of us
She loves people, and peace, greets with EIREENE
As with my shalom-shalom, wholesomeness & healing
Are conveyed by our special words and sayings
Jennifer P, Joe D, Vijay P, George (Mrs V): blessings! My "prayings"
II
Thanks Jennifer Proxenos for writing such encouraging and generous (my cup runs over, per Psalm 23) comments today, Friday, 29 April, 2022. shalom!

The world is grand she thought.
The sun has never felt this pretty.
She has a wholesomeness that makes me glad.
She danced a bit.
Celebrating her talents, her skills, herself.
Glad she remembers the life she once had.
Regaining bits of it one sliver at a time.
She smiled and threw her arms out. The flowers laughed.
She had gotten away, untangled the clutches of feelings that held her.
Bound to someone who only wanted to squelch her light.
She could now laugh and sing and dance without an angry face glaring.
The only one who controlled her now was herself!

Clothed by a smile, naked through words
A beginning, bound to no end
Life, an observation to be captured
Freedom sought, by a captive soul
Autumn feels, so much like home.
An unsteady commitment, a promise betrayed
To return, an ideal that reality cannot accomodate
Conflict borne, through a mind too heavy to decide
An engagement of fulfilment, finding loneliness
This hand tires, just as this page.
The introduction of a pause, births stillness
A fallen pen, awakening failure
Incomplete pieces, consuming wholesomeness
Momentum lost, a crutch to prevent continuity
Wallowing again, time without purpose.
Another day, another return to uncertainty
Every attempt, shadowed by finality
The joy that had been, anxiety's casualty
Reminiscing of the old, forgoing the new
Where release was apparent, cells confine.
Not without hindrance, the last stains arrive
To deny the inevitable, or embrace it's truth
Slowed has the heart that paced, passion subdued
Mismatched lines, chaos pervasive
Letting go might be best, of a love without direction.

God’s hell fire for weevil
Like his final for the Devil,
For the weevil is equally evil
To our rice never civil
And to its consumers a rival
Always some marvel
How it ends its travel
In the sealed bags it quarters
And the grain of rice it scatters!
I grant the weevil is insect
But why every grain dissect
And its wholesomeness affect?
Yes, not by a little real
The weevil cherishes cereal
But is it the wisdom of Daniel
And is it conceivably ideal
That holes it punctures in a nutrition
For consumers reserving malnutrition.

frozen in a bag
i can still move, but i am numb
i question the circulation of my blood
my derriere is raw
my stomach stays gurgling
hello, my dear gastroenterologist
charmed to meet you in this altered state of permanence
in this moment, all i can think about is 'once upon a time'
in this moment, what creeps into my head is 'colorectal cancer'
now i become deathly afraid of my threatened mortality
i wanna run, but then i would constipate myself and i could not live with that
so i reluctantly decide to stay
i pray for the wholesomeness of the thawing.......
.....frozen in a bag.....

Good fights Evil, so Evil increases her onslaught.
But Good is not giving up, more sure than ever.
Evil revs things up, throwing in cousins of power.
They laugh and banter, attempting to intimidate Good.
Good holds on, feeling more confident than ever.
She is going to win this battle, for she sees Evil’s frustrations.
Evil is tipping his hand, increasing his show with memories.
Attempting to frighten Good, however, Optimism joins her.
Good and Optimism encourage Joy and Happy to help.
Evil finally gives up, for the wholesomeness of the four is too strong.
The young maiden wakes up and throws her sleeping pills out.
No longer interested in taking her own life.

A Magical Family Christmas
The smell of flickering, tall balsam candles,
reflecting on the mirrored wall.
Heavenly music dancing mixed with the loving
voices of a large, close family.
The Noble Fir standing like a grand king, his
aromatic good cheer , is back, like last year.
Piles of presents, almost halfway to the ceiling,
wrapped with love.
Bowls of nuts, chocolates, candy canes and bon-
bons~ ah~the sweetest smell.
Oh, the excitement , so bright, this fantastic
Holy Night.
Our children, grandchildren, going to sleep in
giggling, anticipatory delight.
I wish it were more than once a year, the love,
the wholesomeness of family.
Always brings on grateful, holiday, happiness tears.

wholesomeness destroyed
sweet is bitter
two plus two equals...

rendering script
reread the ink lines
a broken field
survivors slain by men
smile or die
insecurity
my own fault
lies are the only form of sustenance available
but still leaves me empty
laugh misery away
hope you had fun
truth deletion in progress...
smile

smiles identical...
sorrows ever so diverse...
