Spiralised westerns are not the same
Roll the credits on what's-his-name,
walks like Eastwood, talks just like Wayne,
saddled up on his trusted steed,
pistol packing, sure he'll succeed,
stealing the sunset, final frame.
Red carpet ready, for acclaim,
didn't notice the spotlights change,
when he signed up, to take the lead.
Roll the credits.
Movie critics called it a shame,
a bad luck draw, no-one to blame,
for the box-office franchise

one of my favorite westerns
Tombstone
law goes after thugs
my favorite western without John Wayne
Loving Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell
“I’m your huckleberry”
Held breath during shoot out at O.K. Corral
Rooted for Josie and Wyatt to get together in the end
Even though I do not usually root for a homewrecker

Celluloid Cowboys
Old Cowboys, forts and shootouts

While behind them in the background
The stunt men do it

The Westerns of Tv Land
I was watching the TV the other day
When a certain Rerun began to play.
It brought me back to one of my brain's stifled bans
Because it was about Lucas McCain...the Rifleman.
All of a sudden I was drenched by a flood
of Western Shows that have been long since dead.
I'll just begin with a few you may remember
Like

Spaghetti Westerns
There was a great filmmaker from Italy.
The man’s name was Sergio Leone.
He made a famous western trilogy.
These three films were all quite good.
They starred an American named Clint Eastwood.
“A Fistful of Dollars” became something to adore.
The next film was titled “For a Few Dollars More”.
The most famous of this cinematic trilogy
was the flick “The Good,
