Bonanza on my TV
After that the Rifleman
Democrats watch Westerns, too
I can't write cowboy poetry 
since I a not a cowboy
But I have been to Texas 
and written for a publication based there
Democrats watch Westerns, too
Jesse James was a fierce outlaw
But I am not cut out to be him 
as the song says
But, yes, Democrats watch Westerns, too
