Never break the heart of a kind man with New Moon Leo,
Never break his Rising conjunct asteroid Child ego.
Never break the spirit of a Fixed Big Three individual.

Fixed

Beware your saviours.
But why bother learning now?
Indulge yourselves some dignity, best give up and lie down.

It's what you wanted.

Photographs Fixed Fade

Photographs fixed in fixative curse memories to fade,
As they are too true and static, starkly black and white.
Recalling a snap-shot, not how you want your memories made.
Each scene fixed in time, ever fading thereafter, in the light.

We want our memories to age gracefully, not fade,
Embellished by fuzz that blurs the lines to soft and warm,

Beneath the stars my heart awoke 

You fixed the parts that once were broke

So now my heart is born anew

I owe this glory all to you

A Broken Ornament How I fixed It

An ornament fell
Quickly to the floor
An angel object
She holds a lantern
Held held high in her hand
When the angel fell 

The lantern came off

I grabbed the scotch tape

She is good as new

Can It Be Fixed

New shingles refresh a roof,
a sagging ceiling drywalled,
a cracked window repaired,
a busted door reinstalled.

When cooler heads do prevail,
arguments can be resolved.
But words of anger and hate,
once spoken can’t be recalled…

Never Gave Me a Chance

You never gave me a
Chance to be a mom.
You took that away from Me

That I would be better mom

Some like to gaze at stars;
I stare instead at you.

Compared to how you glow,

There was one ceiling fan chain
It was short hanging down
The short one controlled the light
So I pondered an idea
I bought a small dream catcher
Attached it to the short chain
Reaching for the pull chain
That was hard to reach

Sans Fixed Hour

Since it rains outside
    asleep and absent the time
    I sleep sans fixed hour...

An Instrument Box

A worker's plight
In a big factory
To lower the head and work for hours
Cannot see, cannot hear, cannot gossip, cannot interfere
Just like an instrument
In an instrument box
Seated a fixed place
Do a fixed job
Waited to be taken out
Or else  become useless

The Ruby Rose - Typo Fixed

The ruby rose that I once knew
was graceful, mild, and oh so sweet.
I put down roots near her and grew
to understand she was discreet.

Though in her garden all seems well,
the ruby rose that I once knew
has secrets that she hates to tell.
