Never Gave Me a Chance

You never gave me a
Chance to be a mom.
You took that away from Me
Before I could even
Be a mom.
Or were you scared
That I would be better mom
Then you ever were?
That I would be the better mom
You never were to me?
So you took that away
From me.
Ripping my heart out.
And ripping her out of my arms.
Wanting her for yourself
So you can make her
In your own image.
Make her like you
So she can fit in your
Perfect little family.
