Word-Weary

I don't choose the muse
the muse chooses me
but when I need her most
then whereabouts is she
abandoned and self-mocked
not word one could I pen
with writer's block
my fate cast to the wind
but if the wraith had knocked
as does opportunity
I couldn't tell
on the other hand
her silence rings a bell
so left to my own devices
of weft warp and weave

Times colours wrap around seasonal dreams
Weaving pictorial thinking with silken words

Of life within the veil of faithful hearing
As trials attempt to rip the weft and tear the warp
From earthen cloth that talks of tapestry hung,

 With a never ending pain
 As melancholy shadows are cast

 Her heart finds it hard to dance
 To the beat of love
 Memories leave her in confusion

I work for Warp
It’s a warporation
That builds for war
And our warring nation

Financed by banks
With no inclination
To give their thanks
For the world’s cremation

Wily banksters
Have mastered inflation
Besting gangsters’
Fake money creation

They were dead set
To make a cash fountain
That’s based on debt
Higher than a mountain

Which is a boon
For us workers at Warp
Where we’ve ballooned
Into a mega-corp

Yet have no fear
Unless

Self Involved Warp of Coziness

each artist is working in their own world
they share a studio, but none are aware of others
they are in a self-involved warp of coziness
one with their canvas, paints calling to them
each one in a bubble of self-indulgence,
distracted by nothing, comfortable in their cocoon of art

Warp Speed

Holidays go by quickly, as if they don’t want to hang around. My life seems to be happening at warp speed.

Immersed in a space-time bubble,
memory lost, soul’s in trouble,
for now it is entrapped therein,
knowing not how it may begin
to claw its way back into light,
without help of spherical sight,

is to opt for thought flow recess,

We boldly go where no one has gone before
All because we couldn't travel as fast as light
Remember that space is vast in all direction 
Power is necessary if we're to boldly go there

Acceleration is a key factor to space travelling

They say you can’t 
Go home again.
But I did. 
Not a good decision!
There’s a time warp
Between then and now. 
Things shrink in size.
Memories shatter
In the light of now.
Where is the couch I hid
Behind to read
So I didn’t have to
Go out and play?
