Random Thoughts 1: Face wash

I wash my face twice a day
Once vigorously
As if I am exercising demons
Residing in my pores
And once gently
In circular, sweeping movements
Like I am washing away the crust of tears
That have come to settle on my cheeks

Truth Bared

I stood in front of the mirror
As naked as could be
The goal was to make an estimation of me
I saw eyes
That overlooked truth for lies
In order to prepare a drink
For lips
That greedily sipped
To strengthen breasts
That harbored contention
To energize feet
That blindly followed the path of dissension

I stood in the front of the mirror
After scrubbing vigorously
The goal was to make an estimation of me
I saw a face
That was searching for forgiveness and grace
To be prepared with strength
So as to cleanse a heart
That had been ripped apart
In order to open a soul
That held the key
To unlock a truth
That launched real freedom and beauty

Premium MemberScience Report or Who Prays for the Mantis

Praying mantises, those arthropod thugs,
prey upon other, unfortunate, bugs,
"But who prays for the praying mantis?", I ask,
"And what lurks behind that killer's mask?"

After the males have fulfilled their function,
the females seem to lack compunction,
practicing sexual cannibalism, they say,
enjoying a nice meal after a roll in the hay.
While males consider this distasteful,
females say, "it's just not being wasteful".

Is the praying mantis truly mean and vile?
In the insect world, he stands on trial.
Speaking for aphids or ants or anything little,
I argue vigorously against acquittal.

CELEBRATION

CELEBRATION

Celebrating 40 like a hottie, I victoriously venture valiantly in my New Era,
Vowing to vanquish every vexing challenge as I get older,
Yet younger, yielding to the years of yesterday.
With vigour & vitality in victory, I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY...
To yours truly, as I celebrate added year soulfully.
I valiantly vanquish the veil of doubt and fear,
Vowing to victoriously voyage through life's labyrinthine year.
With veritable vitality, I vigorously venture ahead,
Victoriously claiming glory after all done & said.

Though my age & appearance decide to fool me,
I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me, yours truly!

the big fraud

The diabetes Fraud
On Der Spiegel today I read that a solution to diabetes had been discovered, the article showed a serious medical staff breaking out
In jubilation, followed by happy patients
The reason it was not made official was because the big pharma would shut it down
Hang on!
I remember having read the same article 5 years ago about a rare plant in Peru that in powder and taken before bed would cure Diabetes
A spoonful of this stuff a day will surely keep Doctors away
The rare plant from a hidden valley in Peru now
In liquid form are costly, but what the heck
A diabetic is willing to pay any price to be able
To be cured right?
You will hitherto be slim and handsome again Full of energy vigorously march forward to new life, thanks to a flower in Peru
Such a fraud, the slimming of your bank account, you have been had when the blood sugar is too high and it is back to insulin again

Echoes Of Longing

My endless gaze never ceased to leave your side
The tint of your silhouette shamelessly draws me in each time
Your beauty fills the empty void of my life
And for you so I strive
Could I be with you just once?
Dashing into the unknown, searching vigorously with all my might
Will I ever break through our barrier?
The more I chase, the faster your pace
Your view starts to fade dimmer and dimmer
Until the darkness completely envelopes your shimmer
Was this the end we dreamed so dearly of?

The Dinner

Tis' a calamity
A dinner, to which I must oblige
For it was a request of my family
To whom I cannot deny

Mother welcomed me in warmly
Her expression rather wry
Father is late and will be back shortly
And to her I cannot defy

Take a seat, back arched upright
The aroma of Mother's cooking is brimming with life
Mother vigorously encourages me to take a bite
My dear Mother, whom I cannot deny

The chewy meat is roasted dry
With each bite against his flesh
Crimson seeping from Father's eyes
But this is a request of darling Mother, whom I cannot deft

Lest I wish to end up like him

Fallouts

Oh my dearest, she who my whole yearns for ,
She who was boldly drafted in the future of mine
Now very distant, far gone , breaking my all
Where was I at fault? Were my transgressions so great to let it fly ?

Dawns swiftly metamorphosing into dusks
memories of her , the sweet toned voice ,brings me near tears
maybe not now , maybe not in the coming years ,
but my mind hopefully will ditch these heart piercing flashbacks.

Heart vigorously pounding,
enticing suicidal thoughts.
Unending streams from my eyes ,making me taste salts
Nothing and nothing seems exciting.

Maybe one day, or some day ,
this pain will grow wings , enabling it to fly away.
To get my smile back ,yes I might sound like a fool
Because my happiness has always and forever, laid in you .

Blue Petal

Seldom does the morning wake me now
Too long has there been a dream of green
Foggy with the mist of the sea bay
Filled with those small white boats
slowly bobbing about here and there
Tethered to the waters and our desires

The sun through the glass panes comes
Amorphous as thoughts touching everywhere
Castings shadows defining the darkness
Spreading the light vigorously as a summer storm
Where just outside the bedroom window sill
Hangs an aging flower box peeling off its blue paint

It has no flowers or dirt, the bottom is long gone
A reminder to another time, another grace
A traveler from the past in torn britches
And broken straw hats popping their lids
You can watch the blue paint chips drop down
To a weedy grass like petals of forget me nots
Today was another day of green dreams.

Till It's Dawn

Weeping endures for the night,
Joy comes in the morning.

So I'll cry my balls out through the night, awaiting the happiness dawn brings.
I'll cry till there are no fluid left to spill.

I will cry, they won't know I did.
Darkness will cover it all.
I will do it softly, they won't hear me sniff, they won't see me drip the drops.
Darkness will cover it all.

No, I will dance through the night, I will dance till dawn comes.
I will stamp my feet, I will shake myself vigorously.
They'll say "She's happy, she's merrying."
I'll smile having fooled them all.

I will dance as I cry,
For at dawn Joy comes.

Cycle of discomfort

Arid-tanned leaves,
vigorously stripped
from their cages by
thick cold winds,

luring them to dance
like elegant swans,
swaying dangerously
naked to speeding
express, testing their fate.

I hear the roars and
dark clouds
setting up the stage.

You only hear nature's
voice through our pen.
Their pain, happiness,
memories and laughter.

our
favourite lover.

They preserve us,
and in turn,
we become their sip,
they eat
in nourishment.
In the end,
we all come back as Nature.

Premium MemberThe Lion Tamer

Given an impossible task to vigorously chase

Based on something nobody else wanted to face

With no support expectations were delivered coldly

Blindly thrown into the thick of things to navigate boldly

I’m the one who manhandled the lion down a back staircase

The Music Of Heart In Verse Softly Whirred

What seems now old
Used to be utterly new
What was previously told
We cease to over chew
*****
All that is old hold a treasure
If only we all knew
Just weigh and measure
Under the veil a unique hue
*****
Out of memories we grow
Been taught lessons to the bone
We do reap all that we sow
And for wrongdoing we atone
*****
Pleasure and pain what we gain
In a life not taken for granted
Who can stop time or rinse rain
Or suppress anger that should be vented
*****
Life will continue to hurt and heal
Vomit its villains to mould the meek
Send its saints to instill ardency and zeal
Never always the ones at the wheel
*****
Deeply inside my prayers I recite
To always endurance and faith embrace
Be human of worth, decent and upright
And paths that stain never retrace
*****
A great depth of gratitude to God we owe
For both strength and forbearance
For age that vigorously flow
And for the gift of Love in abundance
*****
An abiding passion for her Majesty the word
Delving into my smile and feel would draw
The music of heart in verse softly whirred
My poetic human soul imbued with awe.

Premium MemberVanessa's LIFE

Vanessa was a very vivacious
Virgin with vast amounts of
Various captivating capital.
Vanessa was still substantially
Vigorously victorious. She was
Almost always blatantly Boldly
Brilliant always at every instant
Vanessa was never a victim.
Not quite part of the vicious
System. And too she was wondrously
Very vigilant in her position to the
Point of stellar strict religion
Vanessa at times
Vehemently voicing her optimistic
Obliterating opinion in the presence
Of opposition and she was
Young only thirty one. Vanessa
Was also at times valiant and
Deserved validation and rhetorical
Respect. Played much of the time by
Her own rules until she met Val.
Then then and....

Premium MemberGoodbye To This Ivy

COMMON was it growing up from grounded poverty
Ominous was the task; that it approached with glee
Monumental; the first rung on an iron ladder would be
Making its way; climbing would not always be; sunny
Over time, this world; this way; driven to near insanity
Now, though, looking back; It has earned a legacy

It spread from post to post; life was not a gimme
Vigorously working at that point; if it died right there, no one would miss me
Years it would take; growing up life's trellis before saying goodbye to this IVY
