God , No God, May be God
Question arose there, who created God?
Nor he is begotten,
No. He begets not.
God. No God. Maybe God.
Uncertainty told the light a lot
He is sometimes far away, sometimes nearest
to your integer number of fantasy pages,
already brought.
There is already a lot on your plate. Truly a lot!
You and stress eating vetoed these , as understood
The glory faded away as
she stood on the deck with the burning sun, behind, a melting pot!
Still a beauty with flawless smile and
pearls of the forgotten time, as impeccable time sought!
I thought you did!
You held me up close and it simply withered away during sleep time
without the faintest clue of any debating try!
With teardrop of a lifetime, lifeline,
and a parable paraphrase, folklore
equidistantly located loci, of a vagabond sky!

Walking through the door of my childhood home
brought back tsunami of wisdom overture.
Tastes and colours in décor change with culture;
varied pallet of history in lands roam’.
My children had turned out to be a challenge
as they had early on displayed my talent
for examining and questioning latent
defects papered over; now seeking balance.
We’d a small, intimate wedding reception.
The wallpaper in the lounge is instantly
recognisable (like kin related distantly),
from the photos. No inkling of deception.
My parents had asked this sweet sixteen to voice
her preference for bedroom to replace staid
pattern reminiscent of a fabric plaid.
But they had vetoed black and white Op Art choice.
The celebrations of the many milestones,
spanning the blessed years of three generations
firmly recorded in the decorations;
layers of peeling wallpaper to bare bones.

Our parents take us just so far
And then we find our way,
No longer captive to the rules
They taught us to obey.
So where we live or what we eat
Or wear or do for fun
Must be decided by ourselves
And vetoed by no one.
Our choices may surprise or shock
Or anger, I suppose,
But that’s the way it’s always been
And how it mostly goes.
Though parents may expect their kids
To their own lives conform,
Embracing quite the opposite
May often be the norm.

One wanted my company but they vetoed,
I had happened to overhear.
My anger never torpedoed,
but nulled to make way for sorrow.
I realized it was not them that were hollow–
But it was I that caused distress,
I could not sojourn there nor here,
and everyone hesitated, failing to confess.

A free afternoon
So we heeded advice.
We strolled by the river;
The streets did entice.
We wandered down alleys
In neighborhoods where
Unexpectedly, ruins
Cropped up here and there.
To keep us from flagging,
I turned to gelato.
My spouse had espresso -
He liked it a lotto.
But when we were ready
To hit the hotel,
We vetoed a taxi,
For back where we dwell...
We travel by subway,
By foot or by bus.
It's quick and it's cheap,
Which of course is a plus.
Yet we're tourists and don't
Know the routes, like at home
But we figured - we'll ask.
After all, when in Rome...
So we purchased two tickets
And made our way back
By bus and by subway;
The code we did crack...
With the help of some locals,
For at every station
Were "Grazies"* and smiles,
Which don't need a translation.
*thank you in Italian

No matter what,
there is no one who's happier,
perhaps, tomorrow
I will hang myself
I never vetoed
being spry or napping
for happiness,
despair
or sad laugh.
I never vetoed
for anything, I never
cry of the pain, I live,
I fight, I do.
I'm happier than anyone whatever,
I'm not a candle
to blow out, believe.

Wanting of a soul
Closer we came in love, for want of souls,
No trials, was sentenced a desired gaol,
Each breath in his detention renewed my life,
Vetoed cynicism, that put an end to all strife,
No wonder I didn't plead for a parole !

Incandescent sunlight glistens
From across Australian seas
To your shrieking heart I listen
Whilst with vigilance I appease
Oh, how dearest a friend you are
A value wistfully unknown
How I adore you from afar
Despite such anguish you condone
Delicate your heart beat echoes
Illuminating blackened bones
A grain of happiness vetoed
Carnage yet again has been sewn
Safe and serene your heart shall rest
Upon these palms of glowing amour
Within these eyes your secrets nest
By that alone you are enamored

Do the small people in this country still matter?
Can you hear us up there with all that raucous and clatter?
In the elections they say go to the polls, each vote counts,
After they are sworn in they say thanks, then its us they renounce.
I have no power and sorry I'm not rich,
when you need us, you flip us on like a switch.
I promise, for you I will work the hardest if I should win.
Pointless, everything needed is vetoed by the Republican.
Sorry if it is your party I am bashing,
but ITS OUR HOPES AND DREAMS they are smashing.
Don't mistake me, I love this country and how we're high on this cloud,
I still say I am an American, but I used to say it much more proud.
When this country was new, the powerful listened to people like me and you,
Now we have a new way, the powerful only listen to a select few.
I suppose my blood, sweat, and tears are not preferred.
But you can count on me, I will be heard.
What I choose is my choice,
What I choose is my voice.
