Because He's everywhere
Anywhere at once He spare
No sin
I mean
When it comes
To God it's unwise
To conceal
What He can reveal

Burglar breaks into wrong house
One angry home owner he did rouse
Tough Grandma throws a trash can;
wildly swings a frying pan
He scurries away like a mouse

Distrusted compliments
- screech like fingernails across
a schoolroom chalkboard.
No marked card - dealt from
the bottom of the deck - will
ever unlock my heart.
Avoid the overt
- sly Valmont, the skittish game
is wise to advances.

Sage is she who likes my books.
Scoff Scoff Laugh Laugh
Sage is she who relates to me
Come on Missy! Really?
Wise is the man who agrees
Wise is the man who is compliant
Wise is the man who does not question.
You are such a control freak my friend.
May I please talk to George?
Sorry He is dead.
When did this happen
Thirty years or more.
I do not feel sage at all right now.

I save my love in the cave
Where she roams free
Shoving aside the pride of the stave
Whose tentacles disagree
With the quality and quantity of care
Love demands in return for expanding horizons
In which she’s the key player whose flair
Dominates and dictates the zones
In which she receives affection in return
For the affection she bestows on me
To pour tons of affection into the urn
Where I’m forever indebted to see
Vast amounts of affection that nourish
Several critical aspects
Of emotional nutrients which burnish
The love I save from suspects
Too keen to take to flight
At the earliest demand love makes to protect her sanctity
In the face of the slight and plight
She lands sometimes when the care quantity
She gains proves too little
To justify sacrifices love makes to comfort
Me despite the brittle
Vase I inadvertently crush in the fort
Where love hides the heart so often misunderstood
In contexts so complex
Brave love feels it’s high time she vacated the neighbourhood
Where partners find reasons their macho muscles to flex.

My love towards you, in which I prize,
Is, to you, overrated
One in a blue moon, we spent our good time
My love towards you, though my foolish heart can be unwise,
Is about to be updated
As soon as possible during the noontime
You brought heaven to my most bramazing - amazing and brilliant - verse
When I faced living hell on Earth...give to the Earth and don't throw a fit!
You are a gift, not a cruel, avarice-indulged - greedy & fat - curse
I wanted mirth, but you gave me what I could afford & I knew how much it was worth - a whole lifetime to receive mirth, don't take it for granite
Be a cheerful giver
I know, this poem's a mini, unwise one
Be a big, big believer
Let the day begin, let's welcome the dawn
With opens arms
With happy, lucky charms
Paint upside down frowns
And receive graceful, golden crowns
Don't be weighed down
By depression - don't drown

HOW UNWISE
How unwise a man seems
When
Within a transient life
A
Permanent residence to
Build strives!

The Reality of Unwise Choices
By Elton Camp
Her parents warned her Roscoe not to wed
“He’s lazy and won’t work,” they wisely said
Roscoe dropped out of school after ninth grade
Then, for years, it was only pool that he played
“I love Roscoe and he is much fun to be around.
It won’t be long before a good job he has found.”
To all his many faults she seemed to be quite blind
Or if she saw them, thought that she wouldn’t mind
The newlyweds moved in with his parents at first
Of all the choices, that soon proved to be the worst
It wasn’t long before they lived in a tiny old shack
Over on the wrong side of the town’s railroad track
Roscoe soon forgot all the promises to his bride
Even his marriage vows carelessly threw aside
He began to use drugs and much liquor drink
Of her parents advice the woman began to think
“How foolish I was I now very clearly can see.
But I never dreamed this would happen to me.
To stay with Roscoe there’s only one reason why.
If says if I leave, I should then prepare to die.”

I heard her words,
I closed my eyes,
Became so lost,
so unwise.
Opened up,
to let her in.
The space,
the sound,
the retched din.
I sunk my teeth,
I bled her dry.
Drained the tears,
watching her cry,
evapourating, she disolves.
turning tables,
to so I evolve.
