In Love with Them

Like two flowers dancing in symphony
with the wind that cradles their feelings
      they move about untouched. Unaffected
by the wisdom, deceit and judgement
of a world that is so opinionated.

A softness reflect in their gaze
in their reverence for each other.
Their chemistry melts my aching heart
As they beam in their simplicity, an
      Innocence that can’t be ignored.

I wonder how on earth can we have
a manifestation of love so unearthly?!
Is this God’s way of expressing that
Love is not lost despite desperate efforts
to swipe mankind off from its face?

Like rain quenching a thirsty earth,
I continue to marvel at the two
As they bask in their own freedom
in their own orbs, own phases of life
embodying the paradise, we all dream of.

Premium Member Unearthly Match

Sunset crimson kiss,
the vampire sets off the sky;
An unearthly match.

Premium Member Unearthly Atmosphere

A charm of finches flew in circles
disappearing entirely into surreal mist
that now camouflaged the field.
It seethed around rows of trees
until all was invisible:
Silence reigned,
supernatural eerie feeling
took over my thoughts.
Fog's gradual encroachment
over hills and cliffs:
Swirling unearthly atmosphere.
I felt distressed.
My heart beat erratically,
hours of inexplicable mystery
shadows vanished as mist thickened.
I trembled with an unnamed fear.

The finches flew to safer gardens.
Screeching gulls took their place.
Across bay fog horns sounded,
as confounded boats lost direction.
Echoes resounded throughout paranormal night.
Breaking dawn witnessed sea change.

Soon I awakened from my stupor.
Like curtain rising mist dissipated,
leaving memories of that uneasy time.

Unearthly

Unearthly
Remaining sturdy
Holding on firmly
Continuing the journey
Pacing myself or in a hurry
Subsiding any worries
In a world full of controversy
The waters have been getting murky
And the lines are becoming blurry
People are violent or begging for mercy
Often being herky-jerky
And far too thirsty
Why do you always got to be dirty? (in the head)
You're always late and never early (since way back when)

Don't call another unworthy
Have a little more courtesy
Before being on the gurney
I'll always remain friends with animals that are furry
And all the little birdies
As well as all the other lifeforms that scurry
While I'm getting closer to the age of thirty

Not a single thing I can't die without
See for yourself, if you want to find out
What life's about
During any kind of drought

Whenever you want, can't just call a time-out
Because you did the wrong thing, for you it may be lights-out
From poor decisions, you can often strikeout

At the lower, middle or higher ground
The body aging and winding down
Any day now, I'll be dying now
While I'm alive, enjoying it, with smiles and frowns

Your Green Eyes Shine

Your green eyes shine
Right into mine

The light that’s There
Shows me everywhere

That we will go
And what we’ll know

They draw me in
Instant welcoming

They show me things
I’ve never seen

They make me feel
That love is real

And a special bond
Between us forms

For you are mine
And I am yours

Forces strong
Unearthly kind

Penned the poem
Because we know Him

There was no sign
Just perfect time

Together we’re free
We’re meant to be

Unearthly

WITH AMPLE SPIRIT
I GO FORTH
INTO THE GLORY
BASKING IN THE LIGHT
OF CELESTIAL DREAMS
IMAGES OF STARLIGHT FEVER
FRESH BEAUTY
DELIGHTS MY EYE
FERVENT ACHING
IN MY HEART
MASKING ALL
THAT LAY BEFORE ME.

Premium Member An Unearthly Howl

Listen to this my friends, while out on the prowl
As a pup of fourteen, saw two yummy nipples to chow
My loins shrivelled up
Was a thirsty young pup
Then tried a region below, next came an unearthly howl!
