Premium MemberThe Ebbtide

And now the ebb tide flows,
The end of all intentions,
Hopes and energies
Exhausted in submission to a greater power.
Terms are struck
And life relinquished
To subside in age
And reminiscence
Of what might have been
So many fine and fragile hopes
Remembered with regret,
Time seen for what it is,
The grand opposer of all dreams.
Long since potential fades
In undistinguished shadows
Of a passing scene
With nothing left
To serve
An interest in life itself.

Is emptiness
The only aspect of this view
To falter slow
In meaningless events
And shrivelled dreams of youth?

The world seemed good
Those years ago,
Seemed full and generous
In its possibilities,
Yet dabbled in half-heartedly
It turned
And snuffed the candle-glow
Of proud intent.

The image fades
To trace but faintly
On the clouds of time
The whims of youth.

Premium MemberBad Nation

I’m living dead, I’m a bad nation
As bad as you like to percieve
The easiest for condemnation
En masse, so maybe I’m not me
Because I’m always undistinguished
I am a crowd you ignore
All personalities relinquished
It doesn’t matter now what for
I cannot see a film director
That could have done a sequel to
Forman’s Ragtime, like a reflector
Under the name of Ragtime Two
A story of the insulated
Would not attract lot of attention
It would be booed and claimed outdated
And all the dire consolations
They’ll put into quotation marks
And I’ll be ridiculed to bits
So no more travels in the dark
No waiters bringing fish and chips
I’m cursed just for the case of birth
This thread will never be unravelled
For me all governments on earth
Are one – its obvious at my level.

Premium MemberCoombe Hill

We were crossing the green field
Picking up the wild flowers
We drank the cheap wine
Spoke most beautiful words
Once there on a Coombe Hill
We were walking for hours
And our lives seemed so fine
In the best of the worlds
Then we passed the old tombstones
With names undistinguished
We climbed up the Coombe Hill
Looked down from birds fly
Over there was a home
With a garden relinquished
-“Is it occupied still?”
 But you didn’t reply..

Premium MemberUndistinguished

How on earth we’ve come to this?
You can sanction me for breathing
If I want a good night kiss
And you cannot wait for leaving
“We’re responsible for those
Whom we tame”, do you agree?
You take care about a rose
Never care about me
It demands a longer look
If you feel its too contrived
Let’s forget me, close this book
Undistinguished comes the night..

Premium MemberThe Stone

The stone that felled the Philistine
Was just a common river stone,
Worn smooth by the waters of the Jordan
Over years of being eroded and diminished,
Weathering the turbulence of existence
With stoic indifference.
It was just another rock,
Undistinguished by its nature,
Until that day it fostered legend,
Being useful for the tumult it endured.
Remember that the next time
You’re feeling old, tired, and useless.
You may yet come to be handy
In service of some noble endeavor
Because of having been so harshly fashioned,
And so smoothly polished.
"To everything there is a season
And a time for every purpose under heaven."

The Feathered Owl Man and His Social Theories

Can he dance for do you move heterogeneous. clam chowder to be ingested can you guess his name. Undistinguished gentlemen ferocious and insane. Currently the much wise sagacious yeti who devolution confer his home to a carpenter. I came to listen to turculent demon who eyes glow with a scinilliant green light a head of a tiger wings of a hawk opens maestoso revealing a conjoined body of faces made of clay crooning in refrain. Heres comes the godhead brain.

Premium MemberDistorted Rose

distorted rose in yellow vase
how dare you chastise me
sure I wilted and lost my integrity
but look at you my withered beast

three d was the olden days my friend
we are mere shells of our vibrancy now
colors oozing out of us as we turn into boxes
distorted, disturbed, undistinguished skeletons

my melodic melodies are dead in the dreams of others
and you are smashed like a beetle
turning your kaleidoscopic self into another lost opportunity
do not speak of my demise my friend; we are both has beens.

Premium MemberCollaboration With the Silent One

Amongst scribble crayoned clouds and an autumn sun,
Honey butter, pure and innocent flow as one.
Tiny undistinguished flickering candlelight
Losing itself in serenity of the dim sky's sight.
Fading away unseen into the quite formidable sigh
In a soft glow those hangs on the edges and dance up high.
Amidst nature's forest deep, evolving a work of art,
Deposited in people's hands most fascinating heart.
Passionately and unhurried moon veils the sky
In luminous ebony capturing their adoring eye.

Premium MemberYou'Ve Left

~ You've left ~

   You've left
The house is lonely
   You've left
Our home is bereft

   You're gone
The good is now bad
   You're gone
Our lives are now sad

Your Love is missing
   Its warmth undistinguished
Your Love is missing
   All its sparks extinguished

   You've left
The house is lonely
   You've left
Our home is bereft

Premium MemberThe Undistinguished Professional Bowler

A pro bowler is not thought of as a precision performer
Laying a 16-pound ball in the exact same spot
Over and over again, as many as 300 times a day
Morning, afternoon and evening for weeks on end

Nor is he deemed a disciplined practitioner of his trade
His temperament even, with a mindset honed to forever
Look forward to the next frame, to the next challenge
No matter that the spare he just failed to pick up cost him dearly

His has not the cunning of a geometry-savvy billiards player
Who knows all the angles on every lane, the dips and
The curves, and even the effect of the temperature and
The barometric pressure on the way his ball will roll

He is not feted as a brave warrior, who subjects his rolling elbow
To incredible amounts of torque over the course of a career
Which can easily span three or more decades of battling tenpins...
No, he is just the man-child next door living out his youthful dreams

Love Letter

Precipitation changing, Rain into snow
These Lights illuminating, A scene that glows
Cumulus clouds scattered and arranging, an intimate view
Great conversation between me and you

A calmness much like the sea, reflecting the sky being blue
An undistinguished current, it can grab and take you
Elements in which create change, sounds that are graceful
It can be eroding, forming landscapes that'll mesmerize you

Beneath are hidden treasures, the risk being unmeasured
To dive is to find, praying for good weather
Some voyages incomplete, this time it'll be better
Could you read between lines, this is my Love Letter

Sanctuary

The marvel, the all-knower make days the

Sanctuary for all who live, day within days:

Twenty four periods during which the earth total

Rotation on it axis, days arrive like crows in the field

Of stubble corn,in days we born,in days we cry

And laugh,in days we sucked our mother's breast

In days we sleep and wake,in days we grow

In days we do our dally activities,in days we get

Married,in days we gave birth to our infant baby

In days we acquire our needs

In days we count time, day, week, month and year

Days dropped away like honey of a spoon

Days follow one another in an undistinguished

Series, growing and then fade like leave on the tree

In days we gone

Our days run as fast a way as does the rain

Coming from the sky

Days were truly endless and seemed like

A single black night.

The Lighthouse - Lighthouse Rhopalic Verse Contest

The coastal lighthouses, intervening
in many dangerous undercurrents.
it's beacon interacts vigorously
as vessel realigns, manoeuvring
past many obstacles undistinguished
by any obvious visionary.
So sailing faultlessly, continuing
home without treacherous impediments

Rebirth

The passing years
through trembling fingers slip,
like worry beads
unsurely strung
along life’s fraying thread.

Sages, seers and cynics peer
and say when it will snap,
but why regard the
sing-song whine of those who
seldom glimpse their own demise?

Mysteries and magic
ventures, bold and tragic—
reason, rhyme and rhetoric—
will someday undistinguished lie
inside life’s tome, its legion seals intact.

But should some day a mighty hand
this fearsome book disturb
and turn the page that lets me fly,
on fairest wings of reborn time
I’d soar and find my way back home.
