   You've left
The house is lonely
   You've left
Our home is bereft

   You're gone
The good is now bad
   You're gone
Our lives are now sad

Your Love is missing
   Its warmth undistinguished
Your Love is missing
   All its sparks extinguished

   You've left

What a fantastic write! Reminds me of empty nest. My first Christmas without the kids, I didn’t even want to look at the Christmas tree...hated decorating it. The holidays felt empty.
