Unbroke Poems | Examples

Silence

Don’t gasp, Don’t lisp, Don’t mumble, Don’t choke
My opinions went unheard, no one cared that i spoke
Pretty hourglass and the clothes, oh so woke
A delicate wave and the attention on her remains unbroke
Whereas, I will the earth to open up and swallow me whole
I wish to scream but not before donning my invisibility cloak

In my mind bounces a lot of unleashed words
My sacred thoughts which they called absurd
A controversy in me, waiting to be stirred
Maybe If I was pretty, maybe then I would have been heard
Maybe If my voice was a charismatic euphony and not a croak
Don’t gasp, Don’t lisp, Don’t mumble, Don’t choke
My opinions went unheard, no one cared that i spoke

Expressing your opinion, raising your voice is not child’s play
There are norms as to who and how, these you can’t betray
More the weight of you, the less of your opinions says the survey
Polish those guccis, dust those diamonds and then your opinion can stay
Be as broken as the universe, but dare not display
But my overweight brown skin is as shiny as it is broke
Don’t gasp, Don’t lisp, Don’t mumble, Don’t choke
My opinions went unheard, no one cared that i spoke

Sonnet 64 'Who Only Honor Can, Must Never Love'

Who only Honor can, must never Love!
(And Yet, he Loves, all hidden and unspoke!)
Who hath Heart sworn to Holy Spirit Dove,
Can never break what must remain unbroke!
Yet words a-tangle mesmerize him, still!
They speak in echoes and tangential cries.
They do not dare the sacred chalice to spill
And yet he holds the image of her eyes
As jewels to look on, filled with misty hope
O! Would that I were he, that I might love,
And in my loving, hold the higher rope
But this, my friends, bears never thinking of,
For thinking leads to yearning, that, to doing,
When he that Loves must end his hope’s pursuing.

Premium MemberThe Broken-Heart, Fallen Angel

Pouring drops tumble as Sin shares her final sensual treasured embrace prior the sanctified storm

Once the Crowning Rays threshold is now the traverse shadow, tattered and tangled amidst destiny’s yarn
Warn decree, reminisced jeweled land plateau accuse is now stone-cold alleyways aging in silence

Damned light, the heart forever shattered, yet the flesh remains unbroke, never
to be unsaid it was love

The crystallized vastness of stars anesthetized the vagabond vampire within the valley of death
Breath of beauty wins by retrofire corresponded aura humanized exemplars on atlas skies

Yesteryears memories are the futures joys for no weeping words or heroic deeds will redeem

Infinite

Just imagine infinity as an enormous iron ball,
Every century it is brushed by the eagle’s stroke,
Until the ball has eroded then the doors of infinity remain unbroke.
