Raggedy Army
As morning bathes in spring sunshine
A raggedy army stands in line.
Unkempt and ragtag, oddly sized,
Unarranged, disorganised.
Red, a splash among the grey
A new parade at dawn each day.
Some heads drooping, some held high,
A handful gazing at the sky.
Fresh and bright to start the morning,
Most won’t see a new day’s dawning.
In summer’s heat, the same routine -
A new head where an old had been.
In autumn’s fading dying light
A hardy few keep up the fight.
But then to hide in winter’s snow,
Till spring’s warmth says it’s time to show.
And bursting forth and standing proud,
Though scattered, battered, thrashed and ploughed
The raggedy army stands again
Eternal homage to fallen men.
Crumbling slowly,
Dilapidated walls,
Dimming glow,
Fading light.
Incoherent speeches,
Unarranged thoughts,
Cluttered path,
Cramped room.
Unread journal,
Unfinished pieces,
Weary bodies,
Deep slumber.
Gloomy day,
Veiled light,
Hidden colours,
Pervading darkness.
Unwritten story,
Masked glory.
June 7, 2025.
You warned us against profit and greed,
with deaf ears these warnings; went unheed.
You soul was pillaged and changed,
till your life became so unarranged.
Dry your tears and please don`t dispair,
for your innocent child will start to care.
He maybe standing at the cliffs face,
so just show them-them your lovin` grace.
Forget your fury-forget your outrage,
time to start on a brand new page.
A chance encounter
Love at first sight
A cute meet
A romantic encounter
An unarranged fate
A blind date
Not fortuitous
Not accidental of course
An arranged affair
A chance meet or a blind date
Both may flourish
What's important
The ending of the episode
A passionate courtship
A long ,loving marriage
Eternal happiness
Fate can be good or bad
Unpredictable
Paradoxical
Have no choice
Helpless
Fate is fate
So far,cannot be understood
But so dependent
Only grateful or sorry
Will be the ending
Of the whole story
Oh,my god
HELLO
"Hello."
"What do you mean?"
"What do you mean 'what do you mean'?"
"You said 'hello'."
"O---kay..."
"Was it just an emotionless greeting,
For an unarranged accidental meeting?
Were expressions or gestures involved?
Was something questioned now resolved?
Did you look me soulfully in the eyes,
Or secretly undress me with your eyes?
Do you think we were here by fate, or choice?
Was there something suggestive in your voice?
Did you say hello with playful alluring guile?
Did your eyes, dimples and lips all smile?
Did your hello contain some hidden laughter,
Or suggest YOU AND ME forever after?
Was that hello, I'll see you now and then,
Or hello (goodbye!) never again?"
"I don't know. It was just hello."
"Hmmmm." I said, rubbing my chin. "Hello!"

Where do I begin?
How can I explain what tears at me within?
I’ll put myself to task
Attempt to answer the questions you ask
Then maybe, just maybe, you’ll know the score
And either open a window, or nail shut the door
I am a clock
The time the world forgot
Tiny gears spinning between my ears
Greased by hope
Interspersed with doubt
Interlaced with fears
I am a puzzle
A cannon without a muzzle
Pieces that do not fit
A challenge to the wit
Curiously strange
Categorically unarranged
Surreal, in touch and feel
Out of order across the border
Delighteningly frighteningly
Wutheringly heighteningly
It was I
I wrote that name in the sky
