Open your ears, patriots,
this is the new anthem
of the courageous souls;
nobody wiill be held to ransom.
It's unacceptable
to let the lion weaken its roar,
it's despicable
to allow disdain grow and smear
our values and principles
with dirt and grime;
our freedom is simply sublime!
shouts,
" We'll invade your country
and drag all into slavery. "
God is our sole witness,
our rage we'll express.
It's unacceptable
to mock ideals and principles
that are the solid foundation
of the greatest nation
that achieves the impossible.
No threat can shake
our devotion, it will not trumple;
we won't sleep but stay awake,
we'll renew our vows
to achieve our goal.
Keep those eyes on the frontier,
don't breathe fear.
So many lives lived
are unsubstantial
too many conversations
inconsequential
lifetimes of potential
unfulfilled
hopes dreams ambitions
killed
days wasted
nighttimes too
some held down by others
not necessarily their betters
accepting unquestioning
living a life in mental fetters
prisoners or prey
of the powers in play
My life is full of socially unacceptable things
From the way I wear my clothes and makeup
To the way I behave in public
And I won't change a single damn thing
I live for the adversity that tortures my life
The pain only makes my frozen heart stronger
Everything that is thrown at me, I'll face head on
Like the socially unacceptable thing that I am
Because really, what fun is there in being normal?
I see the stares from every direction, and I don't care
We all participate in socially unacceptable things
If you say that you don't, well, you're lying
I'll dye my hair and wear all black as a reflection of my past
The darkness that swallowed me whole, I am what emerged
Don't pretend like you understand me, trust me, you don't
Mock and laugh at this little socially unacceptable thing
I'll take your hate, and I'll give you fire
All of your partners, it's me they desire
Oh look at me, such a pretty little liar
The socially unacceptable thing you admire
Don't accept the heart ache and pain that damages your soul from a person who's heart is clearly ice cold, settling for less because you are so afraid of being alone
holding onto a downer that has no good intentions on ever building you back up, but to half way lift you off the ground just to drop you back down
the words of hurt to cause you emotional harm has no place to live in your world, but continues to visit and sometimes stay rent free because in some way you think it is love
accusing you of being unfaithful blaming you for the things that he feels he can only do, all because you say sorry for things that were never even done
don't be like me but listen to me and let go, get rid of the person in your life that can only see the worst in you and claims to love you but has no look on reality to understand that he is slowly killing you
it is not love that is being given, it is hate that is slowly being administered
Lucy Loose was a wench unconventional
well known for doing things nonsensical.
She made a public scene
with frisky Billy Breen.
When she up and did the unmentionable.
Those who rally up hatred for the opposition
and yet give no reason to love their own position.
Those who flock to men and women who share their mind
and yet claim there is no race, but one - the race of mankind.
Those who remain complacent in the faith,
letting the world burn because they spoke a prayer.
Those who plant weeds while tearing up flowers,
all the while preaching how the world isn't fair.
Those who condemn others for using fuel
and yet they themselves add to the pollution.
Those who write angry poems, about the world's ills,
and yet give no solutions.
All of these things, and so much more,
are unacceptable - serving only harm.
But these PEOPLE, are no different than you and I.
Welcome them with open arms.
