Unacceptable

Those who rally up hatred for the opposition and yet give no reason to love their own position. Those who flock to men and women who share their mind and yet claim there is no race, but one - the race of mankind. Those who remain complacent in the faith, letting the world burn because they spoke a prayer. Those who plant weeds while tearing up flowers, all the while preaching how the world isn't fair. Those who condemn others for using fuel and yet they themselves add to the pollution. Those who write angry poems, about the world's ills, and yet give no solutions. All of these things, and so much more, are unacceptable - serving only harm. But these PEOPLE, are no different than you and I. Welcome them with open arms. NOTE: Inspired by Paul Callus's poem, Intolerable.

So true. Too many people judge others without looking at ourselves. Take the speck out of your own eye first eh? Great job Timothy!

Thank you Timothy....I am glad I have sent a spark your way! Your message speaks of what is intolerable; many of us are guilty partners in crime, though we condemn others and often delete our names from the equation. WEll expressed...#7 // paul

Appreciate the 7, my friend! My main goal in this poem was to express that there are unacceptable behaviors - but not unacceptable people. As it says in Scripture: we wage war on principalities, not flesh and blood.

the ending was so charitable on this poem. That is because you are so big- hearted, timothy.
