Eyes that search, but never see
Hearts that yearn, yet writhe unfree
Minds closed tight, that fear to think
Two troths pledged ~ never linked

Promises are bestowed
Pledges made from their hearts
Precious vows of marriage
Proclaiming troths of love
Plighted to each other
Personified with rings
Partners 'til death do part

Oceans Apart But Always In My Heart.
.
How I love the ocean cascading crescent waves
That gently kiss and caress the golden sands
So tenderly as I used to do to you
With warm soft pillowed lips
And my loving gentle hands
.
With feather-like teasing touches as a pleasant sea breeze
Evoking pleasurable soothing inner deep emotions
To your sensitivity I’d deliver
And make you rive and quiver
.
Awakening and arousing euphoric ecstasy
As the peaks and troths of a warm stirring ocean
With the utmost sincerity
And expressed devotion
.
The swirls in the water
Remind me of how we used to waltz the night away
And I hear in my head
How the music used to play
Among the oceans rush a
And among the spray
.
I know you can no longer hear or see me
But you still live on in my heart
And in my head
A d I recall how we one walked hand in hand on this shore
The blessed day after we were wed
And we made love that night
Upon a scattered rose petal bed
.
There may now be an ocean
That keeps us far apart
But as like as I breathe
You are never out of my mind
And always
In my heart.
.

'Twas the time of Summer solstice, they wed
Verdant leaves clung to trees; the month was June
Whispered troths of love, sacred vows were said
'fore fauna, rising sun and waning moon
Prince Largent was soon to be crowned as king
but Mekram, the wise, held grief in his eyes
He smiled with joy when Asha wore the ring
Though death neared, he feigned a joyous disguise
Bodies joined, celestial and human
Festive auguries 'pon the forest floor
Skies aflame, trees canopied with lumen
Their world glows today, and forevermore
'Twas said to be just an immortal tale
but in June, astral light gleams in the vale

At dusk daylight realities shy away and hide
Beneath black fantasies and reasons subside
Twilight traces the contours of desires
Wild fantasies set aflame amorous fires
Darkness dawns upon chaste conscience
Casting a wanton spell over the ambience
Dreams of dusk draped in capricious wants and whims
Cravings and impulses over youthful ambrosia, skim
Lovers bound by nocturnal trysts
Elope together, quenching thirsts
Pristine souls enthralled by love, entwine
Drunk with the wine of love, divine
Reveling in enigmas, ardent passions roar
Enticed by desires, fervent emotions soar
Castles of foggy love are erupted, promises made
Palaces of misty desires are built, troths laid
Ebony silhouettes aglow with passions, unknown
Whisper words of love, forgotten and lone
Further into the night when raven darkness rules above
Murky moonlight chases shadows of phantom love
Blinded promises, lost in the black abyss
Mystic utopia fades into the chimera, amiss
Moonstruck, shadows silently drift into oblivious sleep
Haunted by nightmares of night, drowning down deep.

The slurry flows with diligence
from the troths of complacency
fed by noble gravity to plummet
in pools of needless flesh discarded.
No deity commands such diligence
within this moribund dance of death
since platitudes of human thought
form these adept doctrines of decay.
Every living thing hangs in balance
behind our jewel of happenstance
where scoundrel and thief run rampant
to extricate pounds of sweat as penance
for ignoring the energies of renewal
that fill each cell with benevolence
from echoes of creation's explosion
lifting sonorous within these tissues.
I tip my glance towards wonderment
despite the machinations of demonic
force fixated on domination of spirit
once free to flow with blessed grace.
Justified within my sacred promise,
I shall journey to correct corruption
with every fiber of fortitude majestic
until I glow like a prodigious nova.

How I recall my thralldom as a man!
Base troths with idols, rituals of lust,
Hellish haven, hot blood; too late thou learn'st
Drowning desire and pleasure-profaned ban.
But sin may lead where virtue never can:
I - burning, thirsting, bleeding, dying - thirst
For love. Abandoned I, by mandrake curs't,
My lech'rous limbs cry out t'embrace a lamb.
Dear God! My bed a beam becomes. Blessed
Light, in which tearful floods and baser blood
Are rudely mixt, melded, hammered into good,
Grant unto me eternal love and rest!
Our natures thus cros't, I, like bedded bride,
Delight to sleep here, ever at Thy side.
