My cat, Irene, on the top of my couch sat.
Her window to the world, watching nature in action.
Suddenly, beneath her window, a lovely Tortie cat.
But when Tortie saw my face, flight was her reaction!
How distraught I was that I frightened her away!
Irene, my cat sneered at me with displeasure.
Next time, I won't their contact sway.
Cat communication, the purest, observation a human can treasure!

With tiny timid staggering steps I traverse,
Through a gate amid howling ocean of readings,
A whirly wind ringing rhymes of diverse,
Helps the ocean waves bringing tome of meanings.
Woven are these pages in poetic verse,
With bare threads of our deepest feelings,
You will find laughter, tears and remorse
and words of wisdom, prayer and healings.
With throbbing heart, through the book in gaited horse,
Wandered, wondering mastery of poetic ceilings,
Burning my passion, poesy angels appeared in disperse,
Offering tortie trinkets and helping hands in my dealings.

The Cat That Left...
My inner being went away,
When you suddenly died that
Saturday.
You magnificent Tortie, made of God's colors,
Left me, your cat Mother,
to be with your brothers.
You had been my companion
for fourteen years.
Now...leaning over your dead body, under a waterfall of my
hot tears.
I pick you up and cradle you
in my arms,
Though dead, oh, how so alive
your charms.
That long multi soft colored fur still glowing in death,
Oh, God, much to beautiful to forget.
I placed my dead, blind cat on
a big soft chair,
And flowers from my garden with great affection, I placed
ever so softly there.
I thanked God for having her.
Blindness and Beauty all
wrapped in feline fur.
My God! How I loved her!
In Memory of Luvey.

Never once was it all hunky-dory
Let me tell you my story
Grew up in rural territory
I went around and through terrain that was thorny
Whether or not the weather was clear or stormy
It quickly became gory
For those that called me dorky
And said my lyrics were corny
Because I was after much more than money, wisdom, and glory
I've seen my fair share of Rick and Morty
Spent a lot of time in a laboratory
And less near a quarry
Had a cat that was a tortie
Haven't yet had a corgi
Or Forgis
Pockets were looking slim or porky
Put down another forty
Meanwhile myself and shorty
Started getting horny
Telling me about how much she adores me
