In a world too big for one so small,
You walked with pride, stood ten feet tall.
A heart of gold in a dainty frame,
Paris, sweet pup, we still say your name.
Your paws once tapped across the floor,
A rhythm we won’t hear anymore.
But echoes linger in every room,
A light that cuts through even gloom.
Wrapped in bows or nestled in bed,
Chasing sunbeams, turning heads.
With ears like sails and eyes so wide,
You ruled our hearts with gentle pride.
Though time was short, the love was deep,
And now in dreams, you softly sleep.
But still we feel you, still you stay—
A piece of us that won't drift away.
The world’s less bright without your cheer,
But we’ll hold you close, forever near.
Rest now, Paris, your journey done,
Our little star, our tiny sun.

Mental illness is less a character flaw and more a testament to character.
Disability is less a defect and more a mark of courage.
Poverty is less a sign of laziness and more a sign that justice still eludes us.
Homosexuality is less the mark of satan and more the sign of God's love for diversity.
Childbirth is less a sign of female punishment and more a sign of female divinity.
Religious diversity is a less a sign of demonic confusion and more a sign that God's too big for one religion.
And the Bible is less a book about judgment and more a book about love.

oh lovely bed, dishevelled bed,
warm and cosy snuggle bed
too nice to get out of bed
too big for one it should be shared
crisp clean sheets, to curl the toes bed,
pack of pillows for my head.
duvet to wrap around me, bed
wish you served meals, need to be fed.
coffee and toast make it a special bed
crumbs to lie on, isn’t good it’s said
best you throw me out, get a shower,
oh bed, can I sneak back in an hour,
my bed I love you.

Sometimes even the strongest must fall
You just have to know when to let go of it all
The world is too big for one person to save
Against all the horrors and truths she must brave
It’s not giving up or even letting go
The burdens too great, too deep are the woes
Her life in turmoil, the pit of despair
Wanton destruction her soul is now bare
Without cover or shelter, no warmth to spare
It’s the ones that she loves that don’t even care
She fought with courage but did not prevail
With all that’s against her, how could she not fail?
The light has now vanished; it is gone from her sight
Her hope is now failing and so is her might
She gave up everything, her life and her heart
Her will and her strength from the very start
The world that we live in is simply not just
The greed that rules us is controlled by our lust
She knows what to do and to do as she must
To leave this world and the blood in the dust
