just before errands in the city
an egg and bacon breakfast
straight from a greasy griddle
strong coffee perks us
for the coming day
a wire-haired woman sits
at a nearby table for six
in Reggie's Restaurant
where speed and noise dance
to tinkly tunes from knives
forks and spoons
she mumbles to herself
nodding left
prodding fingers right
slapping her knee
a capital clap
that sparks her laughter
what is this flummery?
who is she talking to?
what ghosts enthrall her?
there must be at least five
keeping her company
we quietly crunch
cinnamon raisin toast
sneaking peeks
at this special bag lady
burbling with her buddies
these invisible diners
I wish I could see them too!

The wind chimes whisper
a tinkly melody,
relayed through
an easy breeze,
charming blessed ears.
Yet the chimes themselves
cannot hear
their own
majestic splendor.

Say,
My beloved of Ruins of Old
Who do I have to blame for the End of The World
There is but one metropolis remaining
Consumed by Drought and Siege
At the End of the World
Plaster dust raining on upon nobody at all
In a frenzied glow
At the End of the World
Where is the battle of satans and saints
When paper boys traverse streets
On tinkly tippy toed feet
As the sea roared away its last
And the white columns the founding fathers
Torn down by hungry burglars in the siege
My beloved died in my city, purgatory
My city died in my arms
The Great Bell tolled Hope in the vanishing palace
The best of is but a candle in the wind
Surely, you would know why?

Long delicate fingers guided by purest love
Gently holds my hand, shivery tingles of delight
Such perfect alabaster skin, glows from within
Ivory silk gown spun on spinning wheel above
Heavenly scent, deep breath fills me with love and light
Eyes mesmerized, love beyond measure far from sin
Angel voice, each word she speaks the sweetest refrain
Bursting with pure love, melodic notes float above
Child's soul delights, tiny hands strum so lightly
Her charming tinkly laughter, surely entertains
Heaven's harp mastered by little lamb and Godly dove
An angel in disguise who tucks me in nightly.

Dinkley donker doffle, my momma made me some waffles.
They came out too hot and made me distraught
so instead she made me some boffles.
Dinkley donker doffle, my boffles were totally awful
so momma felt bad and awfully sad so she made me
some tinkly toffles.
Dinkly donker doffle, the tinkley toffles were thoughtful
but they made me turn red so she sent me to bed
I should have just taken the waffles.

My empty dream in vibrant spring
To make true with your loving grace;
I awaited an era till you bring
Those cheerful memories of solace.
Hand-in-hand to walk life together;
To withstand miseries what may come;
Not to turn one's back in bad weather;
Have you kept those promises you've done.
Silent years passed day by day;
Silver shone in your eyes and heart;
Promises sailed off at a far away bay;
Your wandered life was a game of dart.
Nectar from heaven filled tinkly glasses;
Silver rolled on spinning Roulette wheels;
passion flirted with angelic embraces;
I was a null coin among your deals.
I am waiting till you're back home;
To replenish your hope along anew route;
My heart will welcome you are as same;
Please,pick the leaf underneath your boot.
