Thrilling Poems

Heartbeat Dependency

You imagine them whispering in your ears
Through the screen of your computer
You forced me to listen to your heart
Quick and irregular
I'm afraid to uncover my ears
To hear the beating of your heart
I hope it never stops
Otherwise mine starts

From you, I feel a thrilling, gentle glow

From you, I feel a thrilling, gentle glow,

A warmth that's magical and full of grace.

No matter how many winters come and go,

Each moment shared with you, I still embrace.

With you, my heart feels calm and light as air,

In my soul, awakened birds now sing.

And though you're far away, I do not care,

For in my heart, your love is everything.

With you, each task becomes a dreamlike state,

Where darkness fades, and bright dreams take their place.

With you, I find a tone that resonates,

Where every step is filled with starry grace.

And every day, I thank the fate I knew,

For a heart that's filled with light and cheer.

For all the gentle words I share with you,

In verses where your love shines ever clear.

WINTER THRILLING

Winter chill, a drowsy thrilling,
like day and night are just the same;
Just like a usual nighttime feeling,
beings embark in a drowsing game.

The cloudy mists on the window pane
speak of time so freezing cold;
One could be still and nurse the pain
or paint the sky in shades of gold.

For, winter's not just about the chill;
It is also a time for love,
where one treasures what others feel
and gives graces from up above.

Winter is time for new beginning;
A time to shed a bright new light,
to make a new life with a meaning
under a sky so fair and bright.

Premium MemberGrace In the Sky

Sizzling on the cerulean skyline
Twilight lingers, eternally singing
Contemplating this must be God’s headline
Lighting the soul with the joy He’s bringing

Twilight lingers, eternally singing
Laughing at the night, tempting glow of moon
Lighting the soul with the joy He’s bringing
Lifting hearts with wonders to make one swoon

Laughing at the night, tempting glow of moon
Melodies rain sighs from the setting sun
Lifting hearts with wonders to make one swoon
Reflections of gentle from which hope’s spun

Melodies rain sighs from the setting sun
Aching for the silence of night falling
Reflections of gentle from which hope’s spun
Sunset brings tender grace so enthralling

Aching for the silence of night falling
Contemplating this must be God’s headline
Sunset brings tender grace so enthralling
Sizzling on the cerulean skyline

In the heat of summer, just chilling
Ice cream so delicious, so thrilling
Feeling like winter’s ice
Cold that sure does entice
The trick is to keep it from spilling

Premium MemberThe Thrilling Beyond

Purple mists
and dawn wake up call,
red rooster.
Keen bluebirds
whistle and call for gold sun-
songs of the thrill days.

Fading dreams
waft in fading mist
so lovely.
Scents adrift
along green sidewalks of life
beyond plum shadows.

How Thrilling Was Our Carefree Youth

How thrilling was our carefree youth...
running wild, and ignoring truth?
Nobody ever stopped and asked himself,
" Is this a time to dream or to laugh? "
I did both without throwing round stones
at others and incite a fight of hard blows!

How thrilling was our carefree youth,
plucking a peach off a tree and feeling dilly,
consuming that ripe fruit so eagerly;
yes, life and time were lived to the hilt,
the only time we felt sad was toward sunset:
hushing down hilarity and mirth!

How thrilling was our carefree youth
starting a new adventure picking up speed?
One of us would run out of breath:
slowing down, letting another take the lead!

How thrilling was our carefree youth,
doing wild things, and be criticized for our silliness?
Only when one is young foolishness becomes a mundane culture,
and its rhythm of vitality depicts a perfect sculpture
carved with comical, defiant gestures of little worth:
being aware that living is also bellowing and making loud sounds!

Premium MemberNew England

the sea winds calling
           calling beach tides thrilling
                  thrilling woodlands for hiking
	                hiking along streams vibrant
		             vibrant wildlife still sprawling
	                           sprawling plant life enthralling
	                                 enthralling cobble streets for strolling
strolling perfection in a New England town ~~
a New England town of actual living sounds -
sounds like I should permanently settle down:

Leading a simple life are solid folk.
Many fish the sea for their living.
In city life, they would be slowpokes,
but here time is for deep breathing.
Old lighthouses dot an idyllic coast
and fishing boats fill the scenic harbors.
There’s shellfish aplenty for dining ardor.
Many inns are old homes of lace and charm,
reminiscent of America’s youth.
There are old horse bridges and farms
built when pride was America’s truth.
There is much history to relish
and nature that stirs one zealous.
New England is the good life embellished
and an address that I would cherish.

Premium MemberThrilling Filling Chilling Milling

It was exciting and thrilling
To see the stadium filling
Though the day was a’chilling
People around were soon milling

Like pickles in jars sagely dilling
Notice that the Jacks were a’Jilling
Poets in attendance were quilling
Blue jays and cardinals were trilling

Premium MemberThrilling Days of Yesteryear

Southern raised in the fifties and sixties,
brought up very strictly and correctly,
prim and proper not gypsies or hippies,
a time children should be seen perfectly,
and not heard, standing tall an erectness,
the thought of free expression tides were hurled,
ideals "political correctness,
free exchange of ideas, not in my world.

Shadows shout on curtains of doubt, hear it
choking out the ally nonchalant sun,
novel days search for a free flow spirit.
An old soul I am, not the young bright son
consciously crossover mentally numb.
Where I am is on the edge I expect
of time and future ledge we have become
stupidly politically correct.

The Thrilling Living

The house in the sea
Standing near the hill
Very romantic to see
But mood in high thrill,

Two ones live there
One male other female
Always in great fear
If attacks a crocodile,

This or that way ever
Here many are living
Life, death no matter
If living is thrilling,

The world is all to them
Enjoying life is game
No care for other claim
They Be wild or tame.

The Thrilling Season

Owls and angels,angel owls
dressed in black with masks and cowls
dark the nightly guests sorrounding
fearful journeys most astounding
    Talons,wings and feathered flights
fear the coming of the night
Put on purpose, find a reason
to escape the thrilling season
    Black October into winter
through the portal do not enter
Burn the banner, spill the potion
ferret out the slightest notion
That the darker side is calling
you will find the fear appalling
Hidden in the Masquerade
silent screams the others made
Dont be taken by surprise
owls and angels in disquise.
