I Midas

King Midas' greed for riches was such
That everything turned to gold in his clutch,
As did his daughter one day
When she got in the way.
Much better for her had they not kept in touch.

II Arthur

The Camelot tale is a wonderful fable,
And King Arthur and knights were all equally able,
But had trouble deciding
Just who was presiding
When no one could sit at the head of the table.

III The Emperor (the one with the new clothes)

The vain Emperor was pleased, as he gazed in the glass,
At how well his new trousers conformed to his ass.
The fabric, so sheer,
With one crease in the rear,
And the "zipper" in front, though demure, was pure class.

We Three Kings of Orient Aren'T

(Sing along to the carol, "We Three Kings...")
We three Kings of Orient aren't,
Really three queens, we came from afar,
We arrived on time,
Fed sheep and swine,
Delivered the afterbirth,
Cooked food, and then made Peace on Earth, Oh......
(Sing Chorus)...
Star of wonder, star of light,
Star of royal beauty bright,
We didn't get lost going home,
We didn't leave Mary all alone,
We swept the stable,
Gave her soup in a ladle,
After the afterbirth,
Then we made Peace on Earth, OH...
(Sing chorus)..
We three Kings of Orient aren't,
Really three queens, we came from afar,
We arrived on time,
Fed sheep and swine,
Delivered the baby at the birth,
Then we made Peace on Earth, Oh....
(Sing chorus)..

The Three Kings

The three kings fought hard
to open the door that led to
riches and immortality. Each
one of them had a key of different
make. The door's key hole was quite
big for their keys to fit right.

Cannon balls, sledge hammers, logs,
and wrecking balls couldn't break
the door. No scratch or dent could
be seen on the wooden door!

A sage from the land of riddles
once told them they had to melt
the three keys together,
to make a big key;
they all refused.

They still stubbornly believed each
of their keys was the right one to open
the wooden door...

Premium Member Three Kings Day-Part Ii

January 6, 2016

The Three Kings Day morning arrived. Juan and Alicia woke up. They searched for their gifts under the bed. Juan found for the laptop and Alicia the purse she wanted. They ran to the kitchen to show Ana who was cooking the rice with green pigeon peas. Juan was roasting the pork on the stick in the yard.

He heard the emotion of the kids. Carlos decided to enter the house to see what was happening. Juan was playing a game in the laptop. Alicia was filling her purse with girls stuff. At midday, the pork was cooked. The family sat at the table to make a prayer and later they ate the food they prepared.

Carlos read aloud a note the Three Kings left before leaving their home last night. The note said that they only brought one gift to Juan and Alicia, since the most important thing is to share the traditions with the family. The kids agreed with the note. After the lunch, the kids continued to play with their gifts until the night.

The End

Three stars in a row
Are seen in the quiet night
Known by someone as
The Three Kings Stars that appear
Announcing the savior birth
