Symbolising Poems

Shooting Star

Attractive and luminous,
Burning on your golden path
Like an adamant against the sun.
Symbolising every entity,
Caught up in spontaneity
Perusing the conscientious.
Uninspired to aspire
Yet inspiring the phenomenal,
As they claim all of what you grant.
During your death, they wield smiles
Making wishes of a lifetime
While you dance in cosmic time.

Johnston Family Poem

Together, we stand; divided, we fall. Whisky in our veins & Fire in our hearts.
Names of our fallen, written in the stars. Pipers play as the wind blows through the heather on the hill.
Birthplace of kin, the hand of warriors extended.
The thistle sways in the highland breeze, symbolising strength & solidarity.
The best you have ever seen, the worst you will ever cross.
The name Johnston whispers through the hills, striking fear in those who have wronged. Fire of love burning to those of kind.

Flaming Glorybower

Blackened. Charred.
Are the blossoms of autumn's acclaimed abundance
No longer dance they in vivid wonderance,
Singed by the frigid frost,
Stand they forlorn and lost.

Barren. Desolate.
Stand the trees.
Marooned in an island of dry leaves.
Wracked by glacial winds
As deep winter imprints.

A few brave bougainvillea
Struggle in straggly strands
To defy winter's hands.
Up they climb into yellowing leaves
Cobbling colour into the sheaves.

Unfazed. Undeterred.
By mutinous nature
Munificent flames the trailblazer...
Widespread flames in riotous red
Red riotous flames widespread.

An everlasting Christmas
Bedecks the shrub in richness
Bouquets of ruby crowned in gold
Amidst emerald and jade leaves untold
It is the flaming Glorybower.

Not for it the wheel of seasons
An evergreen...it blooms in legions
Symbolising life everlasting
Even in winter's fog and freezing...
Bringing red flaming glory to many a bower
For it is the flaming Glorybower.

Lilah

he gazed at her face
and immediately juxtaposed two divergent elements,
the sun and the moon
in contrast to her smile that glowed with radiance
just like the sun,
her dine eyes symbolising the moon
held a pinch of melancholic charm in them

SHADOWS

 briefly
appear
 almost disengage
 draining away

a cloudy
evening
at
first glance

a
 setting
a gesture
an
immersive
  spectacle
a threshold
is crossed
in the
silence
in the
lingering
 shadow

grief
entering
  symbolising
&accessible
then
 loses itself
in
light

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

Premium MemberThe Rainbow

High above in the sky
Man found a rainbow
Cherished by its semicircular band of
Seven bright colours
Symbolising prosperity or a bright future
Has forgotten about
The other half of the rainbow
Blocked by the congested skyline far away
Has to be dug out one day
By his great expectations

We
label
everything,
symbolising
feelings in our mind,
height of our delusion,
of which we are ignorant
being in deep hypnotic trance,
a disease, for which stillness the cure,
a path upon which only the pure tread.

Oh hermit! Use mind as an instrument.
Our true fulcrum is in spacial heart,
oozing with love, essence of self!
Put not cart before the horse.
Be free and live fully,
alive to each pulse
throbbing within,
pulsating
in our
heart.

Premium MemberThe Spacial Heart

Star of David
The central sun
Unconditional love
Faulting no one

Symbolising thus
Union of polarities
Benign bliss explosion
Climax in continuity

Unlike other chakras
Anahata is special
Wherein love throbs
Transmission radial

Imposing no condition
Heart has no blockage
Immune to ego assault
Allows all safe passage

All the heart beseeches
Is for mind to descend
Unifying in loving embrace
That we may then ascend

Then remains no separation
Of identity from the source
We flow in gentle lovingness
As a child employing no force

It should come as no surprise
That at the heart bliss ignition
Illumines Sushumna magically
Becoming thus our orientation

A Dream By the Lake Side

It is always the same dream
You and I by the lakeside, watching the sun set
In silence and our bare feet feeling the stream
The fading sun closing a chapter hard to forget

It is always a cloudy and stormy night closing in
Vividly symbolising what losing you implies
Beyond the skyline the sun rapidly sinks
I’m terrified and awaken as you evanesce with the tides

When awake I keep returning to the lakeside
Hoping to rewind the dream and have it rewritten
Waiting for you to come back by my side
Hoping to hold you tight and never be awaken

Premium MemberPassion, Purity and Power

The colour red has much meaning
it reveals so much energy to express
providing a passion that knows no end
action in the battlefield to victory no less

The lady who's young and so attractive
wears that red outfit makes the lad's click
has got them really under her spell
her lips so tempting with that deep red lipstick

When one thinks of white so pure
God promises the pure will see Him
in the real spiritual life of heaven
blessing upon blessing up to the brim

That young innocent girl dressed in white
symbolising the purity of the wedding bride
she's kept herself for her sweetheart
being sure to stand in life side by side

Consider that's blue of such variety
such a colour of the spiritual effect
this signifies God's healing power
moving among His own to direct

God knows all that are weak
He's able to touch just the right spot
spiritually is where they need progress
the Lord heals to show what He's got!

(The meaning of the colours Red, White and Blue.
Red: energy, passion and action
White: Purity
Blue: The healing power of God)

Cherry Blossom

A wonderful sight to behold.
Your grandeur is more
Than meets the eye.

From absolutely spectacular bloom
Until you've fallen in grace
Meeting earth, withering
Like snow with an ebb
And flow of gentle breezes.

Symbolising life;
Powerful, exhilarating, sublime
Yet short lived.
Reminding us how brief our lives are.

Sweet cherry blossom
Bringing hope,
Also dreams.
Endless opportunities bursting
Foreseeing for future reference.

Remembering loved ones
Showing life's beauty
Promising starting something new
Whilst shedding what's old.

Blessed Sakura
After all, we are you.

Six-Word Couplet Series Encore

Make a wish
Raising the bar
A shooting star

The truth
The truth untold
Watch it unfold

Wings
Wanting to fly
In the sky

Sky's the limit
Dreams don't diminish
Pushing to finish

Growth
My lost tooth
Symbolising my youth

Love
Far from platonic
More than euphoric

Artwork - What Am I

Scratching their heads
They look at me
Am I a tree stump
Am I a grotesque face
Inside I am laughing
I know what I am.

Am a freak of nature
Plus the imaginative mind
Of my master
Stand back
see the root of me
My ivy hair
Sightless eyes
Garland of lemons garnish my neck

I am singular
A one off piece of art
I am me ....symbolising winter.

The flash of cameras
Light my wrinkled face
Can feel the warmth of inquisition
Words float by as voices are raised
Conclusion ...no conclusion.
