Alas, my wife, your verbose superfluity
Displays an obstinate incongruity
It's just word play hide and seek
Be succinct when you speak
Ok—you're a pompous ass in perpetuity!

plush cars
five course dinners
wine and women
fat wallets
superfluity and loss of appetite
celebration of life

non cognizant with
the other side of life:

faded hues
muffled voices
slime and dirt
growling bowels
search for morsels in the refuse
disease and death

hues fuse into each other
lines crisscross
making an amorphous mass

thus the merry notes of the rich
and the sad refrains of the lowly
make the prosody of life,
echoing
in the annals of history!

The Pen, the Poet and the Poem

THE PEN, THE POET & THE POEM

Perfect picture painting a Poets palava,
And divisible dimensional dilemma:
Like a child surrounded by teddys & toys
To make a confusing costly choice;
Loose the pen & play the pipper,
Or choose between the pen & paper.
My pen I choose, though words reside in me,
The inks temporal ambition is to be
the being inside, on hand to always akin
to superfluity the universe blows in.
I'd write all my emotions all over my skin.
The Poem is the Poets next of kin,
No matter what you think,
in the world's ear his words will sink.
I am a bleeding poet with gush of ink,

words cascading from fountains of imaginations.
With no paper, I'd cloth myself with my muse.
Paint me a poet with a voiceless voice,
words would still speak than world's noise.
The Pen might be mightier than The Poet but then,
The Poet is the life and breath of The Pen.
Let The Pen breath to marinate The Poem.
Reserve a thought for these threesome at the helm.
I'm not just The Poet whose works lies on your shelf
but I am the emotions you feel, The Poem itself.

Settled in the Saviour’s steadfastness...
...satisfied am I within His security.

Saved by God from sin’s wages...
...sure is my soul toward heaven's serenity.

Sealed with the Holy Spirit*...
...set am I to shine forth with Christian sincerity

Sanctified to serve the Lord...
...sweet is my fellowship with Him midst Satan's subtlety.

Strengthened spiritually upon Scriptures...
...studying His statutes subdues my superfluity

Set to spread His love with the Son’s compassion-stirring...
…striving am I since He separates me within His safety.

*Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

Once long ago there was a clear blue sky
Where roamed free bird and butterfly
That’s when came the idea to super citify
And to pollution creators deify
All put their brain power to diversify

Silenced anyone who dared go awry
Soon mile high skyscrapers did gratify
And every square inch did occupy
Way too many to quantify
So it was nature they did damnify

Now skies are filled with traffic jams that horrify
Greenish rain waters that relentlessly acidify
Mountain-high billboard ads that do electrify
An extravagance of gadgets enough to stupefy
Implanted technology meant to dehumanify

In light of superfluity, let me just plainly oversimplify
Scientists need to eat a big piece of humble pie
There’s just no way to justify
Why colorful sunsets went by the by
And why no one remembers the aroma of apple pie

Flowers That Fade

bounty beauty in my many broken places.

faulty connects in superfluity of nothingness.

they meddled,

 fondled

and at first twas a cuddle

but now!

swords they blaze

even to my face!.

sharper than the razor of a blade,

I have loved flowers that fade
