It was the Emperor's birthday.
The Coliseum was sold out.
All over the Cityyou could hear
The people laughs and shout.
First came on the animals
In the early evening heat'
Not much fun once They’d had
enough Christians to eat.
The came on the gladiators
All dressed up to thrill,
Because it was Caesar's birthday
They weren't allowed to kill.
Then came the speciality act,
The deflowering of a hundred maids
All tastefully laidout
Under transparent sunshades.
Out strode the proud Nubian
Dressed In G string and sarong
Eager to get started at
The clash of the gong.
First three dispatched with ease
He stiffened, clasped his head
And without further ado
Fell down stone deaded dead.
In the stunned silence
The promoters was heard to stay
He was fine at dress rehearsal
Earlier on today.
It being a little early
To send the crowd home
They had a little riot
And they burned down Rome.
The Emperor got excited
And quickly joined
Swaying to the flames as
He played his violin.
That's how the Empire ended
By contemporary description;
How different it could have been
With Viagara on prescription.

today
the sum of things slowly dissolves
as I, in sunshades, sit on a shore
not functioning up to par
I have lost the spark
the ocean waves crash against
my outstretched feet
touching my toes
I feel myself sink into the golden sand
until I am no longer visible
the words would not come
for me to shout to be rescued
the seashells are broken like my faith
the sharks have eaten my dignity
still they say not to look back
or criticise myself
the sea spits back the dreams
only in chewed up pieces
too shattered to make up a whole again
I put them in a treasure box and close it
not knowing the meaning of anything
this silence surrounding me
this blue of the air

At last it’s time to go and play
and visit our beach hideaway
to sunbathe
Pure paradise, there are no crowds
bright azure sky without white clouds
just sunshine
Our children paddle in the sea
we picnic under a palm tree
with sunshades
Kid’s faces beam with pure delight,
we’ve a beach barbecue tonight
at sunset
Wake to another golden morn
Sweet birdies singing herald dawn
watch sunrise

Intricate dull summer, autumn's scourge,
Dog day noons, sultry dusk undress the night,
Mirage, sweaty foreheads entertain an oasis,
Rise of Fall, leaves, plot ere barked disguises,
Autumn's quarrels, chartreuse hawks verdant green hue,
Spar shades, tones, pigments re, imagination,
Expelled from hold, abandon o'er cold,
Huddled neath shedding sunshades,
Sun pierced, stains owned ardor brown,
Wrinkled facing fertile lengthened passage,
Refreshed, sprouts anew,
Laments a stabled tree near a rippling brook,
Transpires driven, meaning sustained, neath or aloft,
Gravitation charters its progress,
Ingenuous source served natural throat that thirsts beyond,
Prompt wintry ice, obscure its way, not bar its exemplary flow,
Gratification expounded, outpours inside the expanse,
Breeding fluidity, according to varied species of life on Terra.

I Stare (A teacher's perspective)
In this classroom full of thoughts swimming in heads
He stares at the clock wondering is it time to be fed
The smell of funk roams the room while walls beg of thee to take a bath
She stares at her book wondering when in the future, will she ever use this math
In this classroom filled with ravenous souls
I stare into the eyes of the young and imagine them old
What will become of you years from now and how will you function
From learning success to earning success you are the conjunction
In this classroom, I see tremendous potential
I stare at the faces of generations and hasten to mold your mental
Development of the brain is the ultimate primary goal
Though at times I stare at undeveloped social skills and remain skeptical
Because the future is so bright it will either light a path or burn you
Because the past is fraught with fright it’ll make you better or turn you
I stare at the future who wear doubt for sunshades & clothed with happenstance
And I wonder am I staring at reality or is this just a quick glance

At the beach in your bikini
blowing off those also-rans
you posture in your playful way
with Gucci sunshades and
the latest Grisham novel.
At the gala you're exquisite
in your slinky cocktail dress.
Simple, black, short and sexy,
you shimmer like a morning mist,
the chandeliers are dancing in your eyes.
At the condo in your nightgown,
(the antithesis of sex),
tucking in the kids
and softly singing them to sleep,
you're Wonder Woman in your plastic curlers.
I know I have the best,
without a doubt, it's true,
whatever outfit you put on,
my 'winner' still is you!

SYMBOLS OF SUNDAY
The Ille de Grande Jatte sans noise
filled with poise,a posie-in-paint.This
divisionist dog-day,a second of time
frozen in mime;a slow-motion frame
of a social game. The Seine sleeping
sailors boating,youngsters rowing
a lady fishing.trumpeter trilling,dogs
sniffing midst sunshades swishing.
A promenade peopled,gentility
strolling,watching,then,standing
still,and,taking their fill.A leisured
moment from toil,passitivity
possessed dressed yellow,orange
with green and complementary blue
A POINT TO MAKE
Points, to make a point
expressions by impressions,
lots and lots of dots a
paradigm in paint, impressionist
it ‘aint.Unique yes, inanimate
I guess, poetic proportionate
pictorial pointillistic perhaps,
our eye fills in the gaps.

Girl in red, a dress
Pleated down to her knees, skips
Down the lonely street.
Man in black beret
Sunshades set on face, striding
Down the narrow street.
Girl turns, sees this chap
Hurries her steps, man does so too
Girl runs, man runs too.

Give me shelter under your eyes
let your eyelids be the sunshades
when scorching sun is in the sky
gift me a pleasant serenade.
On the evening of lashing rain
give me shelter under your eyes
let your eyelids touch all those pain
and listen to their dormant cries.
When a pensive breeze leaves its sighs
on the corridors of my soul
give me shelter under your eyes
and remind me of all my goals.
Show me the path with your candle
until a serene full moon's rise
help me to ring the sacred bell
give me shelter under your eyes.

40 minutes ago I wanted to send you an sms
thinking of you while I was drinking my cofee
at the terraces that you love them at night
but I didnt write because of the overly large sunshades
and of the empty place from me
which could never be taken
now I write an sms that I will not send
because it is impossible to let myself to be seen
me who I look like a broken bench next to any empty place
at the terraces that you love them at night
with the lamps big as the story of Andromeda
but with the sunshades overly large
only now I send you an sms in which I have written nothing.

There once was a desperate lonely old man walking through hot desert Sun.
He was completely sand blown and all his garments dangling totally undone.
But he walked as a sharp shooter aimed bowed and arrowed in the Sun’s way,
He seemed to be searching indefatigably for a higher score on a brighter day!
His whole entire world he had left,
Leaving each of everything behind!
He could feel his sunshades begin to slide slip and melt.
That poor old man was about to lose his beautiful mind.
Then he looked up at the vast Sun and this is what he said
Me! Oh! My! “I Do As I Must So Now As I Must Give My High Recommend”,
A dash of this or toss of that brews my seasonal mixtures into weather’s blend!
I really, truly and knowingly do give you my honorable High Recommend,
Just so I can commend my natural amends coursing thy self on honors end!

i love to lick her lips
rub her ****
i love the way her skin mimics a Tall mocha latte mixed with nutmeg no foam
shiit i even love the kinks in her hair
and the "one week a month" granny underwear
sorry i had to go there
i just had to let you know
i love her from her crazy eyelashes to the ash between her toes
cant get enough of her spoken word
quick to flip but she's normally Mello
she can throw on some jeans with her timbs
or a two piece with sunshades and lipgloss to swim
she is me and i am her
i love every single inch and each and every curve
cant get her out of my mind
i see her everyday
i'm so in love if you erase the word i would make up another meaning
it would equate to adore with a hint of infatuate and i almost forgot
to mention the time she takes to make me feel like "natural woman"
she uses love lotions as her potion
she gives me juices filled with emotion
soul food to keep her moon full
and plenty of time to soak up the sunshine
i love her and it doesn't matter if you do
cause she loves me and I love her too
