she shimmers and shines in a glowing dazzling super woman way
I recognize her immediately, as she feeds freshness to verdant oaks
they look stunningly gorgeous as she lifts herself into the morning
I can feel the vitamin D she exudes; she is all powerful and decorative
the quintessential sun, princess of the morning, queen of the afternoon

I read poetry from forty poets last night
some of these missives were brilliant
others were stunningly fresh
I try to intentionally forget most of it
not wanting to be a word thief
or a plagiarists
I cannot fathom why any writer would use A.I.
What satisfaction could that give them?
I want my own words, my own way and no one else’s.

I watch a star twinkle in the dark midnight sky;
a shooting star stirred up a spirited sigh.
The full moon shines its brilliant warm glow,
soft breath whispers love in rhythmical flow.
Shimmering reflections from the light of a moonbeam
stirs tranquility and romance into this dream.
Arms slide to embrace and caress you with yearning;
my passion is rising, emotions aflame, my body burning.
I lay you down gently, and in my strong arms we find
my dreams coming true as My Queen has been crowned.
Tonight for us will be a stunningly bright beginning.
Moonlight magic, love's serenade, will keep us singing.

In a vase, sitting stunningly on our kitchen table,
And singing to my children's mother, are my
favorites among flowers.
These roses must be the the prime of
The pick, because they have clearly been
Divinely touched and enameled with beauty
By their Master and mine.
Nine red blossoms are singing their song;
And 12 more which presently are budding,
will soon break forth in staggering beauty.
At my request, these roses, like a symphony,
Are playing and singing their song for the mother
of my children, entitled, "Happy Mother's Day".

a cynosure of all eyes
carrying danger
like a backpack
seasoned acrobat
thrilling all and sundry
with go-big-or-go-home feats on the trapeze.
he's done this countless times.
a life lived on the edge
flirting with disaster
each moment could be his last
the audience
on tenterhooks
watching him fly through the air
he's done this countless times.
all was copacetic just minutes ago.
amid all the rip-roaring...T H U D!
seasoned acrobat lies dead on the ground.
everything stops; a hush
suddenly falls over the circus.
it's stunningly unexpected...
but he's done this countless times!
he never saw it coming,
no one did
d e a t h
in an instant.

A pretty cabled sweater
That's what you wore today
On no one would look better
There's nothing else to say
You're stunningly attractive
A brilliant South Sea Pearl
The sparkling Pink Star Diamond
A real life cover girl

In her younger years she loved the bright
and bustling nights in New York City
They made her feel so wild and free
To her they looked stunningly pretty
These days though,
she’s getting old,
she’s pushing 93,
& her new idea of paradise
is a quiet beautiful cottage
by the sea

Started his career as a playback musician
He took no much time to reach the lead position
Renowned as a singer, dancer, and songwriter
Overwhelmed with heavy loads of musical flair
Stunningly, he used to swirl body like a snake
For him, dancing and singing were a piece of cake
with cropped pants, loafers and a suspended hair lock
Left crowds screaming with iconic moves of moonwalk
With tons of love, his fans called him the King of Pop
In roaring theatres, he used to make all scream and hop
Invincible Thriller, The Way You Make Me Feel
Rock With You, I Want You Back to the world to heal
(Third stanza- last two lines are his albums)

To put it poorly,
You are the taste of chocolate
And the pulse of being high
Of caffeine running through my lungs
Of screaming towards the sky
And to put it even poorer,
I know a bird who cannot fly
A tiny owl, pink toucan,
A gray parakeet named Lice
To put it worst of all,
My veins are reddish, not-so blue
Just like the eyes of eight odd faces
Or the skies midday hue
But to put it stunningly,
So beautiful and true,
I have a coriander brain,
Coral grain and ghastly blue

You know, you just know, its that feeling in the air
the sensation that something is going to take place.
You don't know what, you don't really care what
you are on edge, waiting, still forever waiting
Then like a stupendous flash the sky momentary lightens
and darkens again leaving an image your minds eye still see's
Its as if its been burnt every detail stunningly clear and
yet you realise there's nothing really there as light returns
All appears normal you scratch your head and puzzle it
over and over you know that you and indeed the world
saw it but what did you all see. A flash of fantastical
light then dark then light returning just simple light
You could live another thousand without seeing it
yet here comes the conundrum what was it?

Over verdant foothills, I often climb.
Through orchards of fragrant lemon and lime.
where the frosty air has a cooler clime
and valley views are stunningly sublime.
I hear church bells ringing. Their echoes chime,
calling me to write lyrics like Sondheim.
Every melody filled with words that rhyme
and those who can't sing, mouthed in pantomime.
Autumn's golden landscape is in its prime.
Seasonal changes are a paradigm.
Soon, snow will be falling and that's what I'm
waiting for; the beauty of wintertime.
On my way home, I'll stop and pick wild thyme.
I wouldn't think that's considered a crime.

I see and feel things I've never seen and felt before.
Ever been arrested by a cactus blossom?
I'd never seen yellow as beautiful.
Ever been touched by the presence of a sunrise?
Or felt the awesome penetrating power of a sunset?
Or captured by a beautiful pink rose?
Roses are most stunningly delightful.
I see and feel things I've never seen and felt before.
Ever had a close-up look into the eyes of a squirrel?
Or beheld the staring and questioning eyes of a cat?
Ever seen an ant being reeled into the web of a spider?
The spider's eyes said, "Please stop invading my privacy".
Or rescued a bug from a Black Widow just before her breakfast?
A small step made a friend. A giant leap made an enemy.
I see and feel things I've never seen and felt before.
