Where is America's 'can-do' attitude
when it comes to the 2024 debacle
If it's Biden against Trump again
won't we feel we've been shackled --
to a House of Horrors, chains on the left and the right
Why won't we Americans even put up a fight
Let's threaten the networks which air the debates
that we'll shut off our tellies at a minute before eight
And as for primary voting, let's all vow to skip that
If it's Biden vs. Trump -- How the hell can we stand pat
Let's round up some candidates who'll go to the mat for Ukraine
who are ready to dig pipelines and boost nuclear power again
Candidates who intend to balance the budget THIS VERY YEAR
not trick us with gimmicks, wherein massive deficits disappear
Candidates who know how to put the 'Woke' in their place
and let go of the elites' obsession with gender and race
No more Men or women who snub their nose at our laws
and berate those who challenge them with the lewdest guffaws
Come on Americans, let's dig in and roll up our sleeves
and round us up some Presidential timber before Autumn Equinox Eve
Lest I be guilty of grossest negligence
I feel like I must put in my own two cents
As I watch and evaluate strong evidence
We owe a debt of gratitude to Mike Pence.
I know, I know, he’s not even a Democrat
But on Jan 6th he knew where he was at
He stuck by the Constitution and all that,
As I see it, it takes courage to stand pat.
If Pence had listened to Donald J. Trump
Asked how high and been ready to jump
On our democracy, he’d’ve taken a dump
We’d’ve never recovered from the lump.
I’m pleased to know some have principle
Not willing to turn their back on sensible
And will defy their unscrupulous principal
I want more cut from a Mike Pence stencil.
Bravo to a politician I thought was a toady,
Wasn’t an a**-kissing Donald Trump roadie.
What will happen
when they burn
the books, and Paper
Mills no more?
Cameras in every
bedroom, ceiling, walls
and floor – willing performers
will we all be, as duped primates
at the Grinder's beck and call?
What would happen
if God realizes regret...
will he end it all quickly
and quite quietly,
or simply pace and fret?
(What are man's odds,
dare you stand pat
and just bet?)
These or boby part give you a start you play this and that way you run have fun play ball park or wall help you stand Pat clap to a band put money in a can rub pain when deep.HAND AND FEET.

More Than We Can Endure
Trump thinks he is sure
Yet more than we can endure
With heart good and pure.
I thought that the last line
ought to get your attention.
I am certain and sure this will make
Both your eyes become wide awake.
Poetry Soup seems not to
be up in the morning yet
and up still has to get.
Here is a pat on the back
for all of you Patty's who
I sent this poem to so you
can start standing pat.
If you can stand Pat you
can stand anyone.

I have thought a great deal about quotes, sayings, nicknames and phrases.
For example how about
Heightened Awareness Hilary
Bushel and Peck of Jeb Bush
Vindicated by Venerable Biden
Go on and Gary
Sensitive to being offensive Benjamin
She'll be coming humming Henrietta
Testimony to My Alimony Ted
Beads of Brightness Bob
Full of Sweat Sam
Idyll Irvin
A Night Cap Charlie
A Hero's Welcome Harry
Indebted to you Dan
Life Without You Lilly
Have a Heathen at Home Howard
Stand Pat Patricia
Greatness I got to gain George
These are just a few ideas and thoughts.
Someday we are bound to end up with a
female President. Only time will tell
unless your watch has its hands over
its mouth.

Leaves Were So Splendid
What if all the leaves were so splendid
But we were bad and order was rescinded;
Would God really do something like that?
Not change his mind and still stand pat.
For God, great poem I will continue to write
Which is so simple and not out of sight
Being exactly what He had expected
Thoughts with His became better connected.
What will it take to make things perfectly planned?
Inevitably, pulled my head out of the soft sand
And found myself in for quite a big surprise
When I wiped all the sand from my both eyes.
Finished typing and then turned over the page
And started to engage with a lot of rage
Not only that I severely started to shout;
On back, the whole poem was printed out.
