Stairway To The Abyss

Climbing a stairway into the mind without
steps
In a room with no windows only doors
without keys
Just silence on deaf ears so it's as quiet as
kept
It's dark like a dead sleep with no life to
it's dreams
Visions so lucid & liquid like as if from eyes
that just wept
Sometimes you can see things with eyes
that don't see
Oceans of worlds exist right before you but
your eyes don't detect
It's so deep that you're surrounded by the abyss
but unaware of the sea

Stairway to nothing

The refining way

Believed leading to liberation..

The frightening nothing

Ending the way and the

Seeker..revives separation's

Persistence..Leading to

More refinement..

A persistent story...

Stairway To Heaven

So high,
           so distant,
           is the sky...
           So intimate,
           so close...
           Those who are
           on the way to heaven,
           following
           the word of the lord,
           without hesitation... !

Stairway To Nowhere

There's a stairway
It leads upwards
To where it goes
I don't know

I begin walking
this winding stairway
Where will it take me
I give it no thought

Does it lead to paradise
Is it my way straight to Heaven
Only one way to know
So it's up i go

But the further i walk
The higher i go
I see no end in sight
Is there a final destination

What is this madness
There's gotta be an end
I can't keep walking forever
In this pointless direction

I feel so alone
Walking this path by myself
But I don't see or hear
Another soul here or there

But yet i continue walking
I want to see how or when this ends
Because much like life itself
There's a beginning and an end

So like many before me
Who've started their own life journeys

Like Dante who traveled the three plains
Like Jacob climbing his ladder

I'll keep going up
Moving farthar and higher
Till i make it there
My journey continues

Premium MemberThe Stairway To Heaven

My 3-year-old showed me something on my phone...
And said, "look at this place"
Bewildered, she seemed frightened
I could see it...by the look on her face

When I looked at my phone; inconspicuously
I thought to myself, "hmm-why fear"
Swirling through the sky and all through the clouds
A mountain of steps, reaching to...somewhere

She tries her best...to count all the steps
But, at age three, she had barely counted to seven
So long a trail...geez
I lost count, after one thousand-eleven

So getting back to the fear she endured...
Was from the stairway to heaven that was built by the lord
Then when I explained, to her...it was meant for the good
She smiled so sweetly, just the way...that I thought that she would

Premium MemberStairway To Heaven By Led Zeppelin

Hope resounds through my soul pockets as I hear Stairway to Heaven
There is more than one road to get there, the paths pliable like a willow
It is okay to reach for all that glitters, but even the songbird understands
Things change in a blink, so there are other ways to get our souls in tune
Rock and roll is one of them for me, it makes me feel light and lively
Ready to put on my wings and fly whatever direction God will take me
There might be signs on the wall, but they may mean different things
To you than to me, and that is okay, for the stairway is not stationary.
It is pliable, bendable, easy to reach in many directions. No absolutes.
The song gives me hope that even a sinner like me can get there,
Even if I take a less glittery, grittier path, so thank you Led Zeppelin.

Premium MemberA Stairway Through the Trees

At a huge beautiful park, I took a vivid scenic route,
On a stairway through hills, in lush nature's pursuit.
The tree lined path gleamed, in the early morning sun,
And pink clouds were fading, since day was now begun.

The warm yesterday breeze, came to visit me again,
Bearing scents of silent blooms, from beauty's domain.
The path was long and winding, so I took my sweet time,
Sure if it took me all day, I'd get there by nighttime!

The squirrels were frisky, and darting through the green,
Like the active summer nights, when all crickets scream.
The flying bluejays sang, up in the deep blue skies,
Like the ever cheerful search, for a natural surprise!

Stairway

J-anuary thirtieth morn
E-rases the gray and blue;
L-et the shadows fade,
L-et the dark depart from
Y-ou.

A-llow the Sunday to pass,
L-etting Monday light shine;
F-ill your heart with mirth,
A-nd thrill to your mind.
N-ew dawn brings warmth
T-o the wide skyway;
E-levate your every step, as you use the stairway.

Premium MemberStairway To Wise Woman Faerie Cottage

Stairway to Wise Woman Faerie Cottage
I found it when I was eight
Spent many an hour inside
Learning the wizen ways of a sorceress

Wise Woman confided she was looking for a novice
to be trained to replace her when the time came
The time was apparently this week
For the stairway had disappeared for fifty years

Today it is back. I eagerly skip up the steps
Ready to see Wise Woman.
Her flesh is gone, but her spirit is all over the cottage
Reminding me, and teaching me

I am amazed that I remember her magic
And how to produce light and love in others
Wise Woman magic, taught by the queen of the woods,
My new title, whispered quietly among the elves and faeries

Stairway To You

I would climb the highest mountains,
I would swim the deepest see,
Just so I could get to heaven,
To see you just one more.

Hold your hand as we walk through the clouds,
Sit you down and hold your waist,
Kiss your cheek and whisper I love you.

I don’t want to keep living without you,
Please take me to you,
I can’t do this without you.

You saved my life and I can’t find the way,
Every time I remember you are gone,
And I won’t see you again,
I can’t keep breathing.

My beautiful brown eyed queen,
I’m coming to you.
Wait for me.
My heart won’t cope without you.

At the Top of the Stairway

As you came upon the stairway
no tear was found before stepping on
You did not tremble nor did you pause
You knew your life would not be gone

Much courage and strength to make that climb
By faith and trust which showed you how
As you became nearer to thee you close your eyes
Upon being gratified you made your bow

You knew your journey was going to begin
Yet made it clear that you were strong
Reaching that last step is now your beginning
You are now there, where you belong

Tomorrow will be here and you will be there
in a new realm of ageless time and certainty
A gift that only God can give
This blessing is upon you now and for eternity
