God whispered and I heard his voice calling to love him more
Promising to make time after completing all my chores
Intending to obey life pulling with violent roar
Losing slowly unaware of falling in this soul war
God whispered and I thought I heard his voice calling to me
Planning family work and life as time happens to flee
Vowing to fit God in when things slow down and I am free
Sliding away as for my soul God continues to plea
God whispered and I faintly felt like I had heard a sound
Racing faster and gaining less and less on life’s playground
Achieving hollow victories as starts another round
Feeling only broken and beaten and completely bound
God whispered and sadly I didn’t even notice at all
Working so hard to build life only to have missed it all
Crowding time with worldly things and goals had been the downfall
Crying from an empty soul finally to God I call

Battle For Your Mind
We live in a time of upheaval and change,
Challenge and war,
But the biggest battle
Is what some call “jihad”
An internal struggle of light and dark
As a soul makes their way along the path.
But along with the esoteric jihad
There is the exoteric,
External struggle for your soul,
And battle for your mind,
A battle between the Death-eaters
And the Life-givers.
In this battle of temptation desertion is always an option,
And as many times as we may vacillate
What matters most is where we finally settle,
And in an infinite universe on a timeline of eternity,
As Led Zeppelin said,
You can always change the road you’re on.
But once we know how it will end
Then the momentary ups and downs
Cannot confuse and distract us.
This is the Path of Seeing
The path of no return, the warrior path
In the battle for your mind.

Don't believe your lying eyes
Say the mocking birds now calling
Filling these dark gaslit skies
While the children all around us
Reaching up with open arms
Wonder if we’ll protect them or
Leave them to a world that harms
As this force of darkest evil
Winks within us as we sleep
Leading our minds into chaos
Dawn will free us from the deep

When twin souls peak in godly intercourse,
love's neither then so deadly nor so baneful!
Invite another in like a Trojan horse,
and the experience truly might be painful.
If torrid lovers can't forgive or forbear,
then carnal knowledge dies in hate and vice,
as heav'n and hell disintegrate in warfare,
and wanton lovers flee from wrath like mice.
On the field of battle,
Young brave and strong,
We are stripling warriors,
Ready to bring it on!
We are fighting the darkness,
Piercing through with truth and light!
Charity is our standard,
Faith, courage and commitment our delight!
Captained by our King and Holy Commander,
We are guided by unconquerable right!
With flaming swords in hand,
This is the truth for which we fight!
Rising up to face the gauntlet of hell,
Yet we fear no death,
For we think upon our one true King,
And more firmly upon liberty than life!
We are true at all times,
In whatsoever things we are entrusted.
As disciples of truth and soberness,
We walk uprightly before Him.
We do not doubt,
God, will deliver us!
Our family, leaders and friends,
Have taught us to believe in Christ!

Oh what joy to be a warrior,
For not one soul shall be lost!
We will fight and win and never quit,

A sad state our government has become today
in this awful news that just pushes the boat out further
As our democracy for one protecting our children
Why it is even under attack beats me up inside moral grounds
this should not even be considered under the harshest circumstances
because it's a humane act to love our little ones bless them with life
not kill them shows savages craving suffering judgemental fools
Tells me all that I need to know about corrupt politics
under an non democratically elected leadership
We each must learn to serve one another
Out of thoughtful concern to admonish another
The world will seek to steal your dreams
In sought adventure one must by ready for evil schemes
The lion can rush through an opening a jar
Eternity is spent in worship paid for;
Thrive under evil and work ease out of pain,
Hard liberty before to ease yoke strain...
Take up your cross & proceed ahead
Beneathe shattered glass to inflate the ego tread;
A pull at the heart will light a spark
Pleased highly those eternal states of joy,
The forces of darkness against the light
To bite a nail against due to spite;
Nor mere ire sore vex display fret;
As when from dusty clouds of ill repute
Through stone fetters languished on its plight!
Take up the whole armor of Christ!
Forget the night despising its inner shame;
The bondage formed felt decay...
Arm yourself!...
Put on the armor of compassion...
Put on the armor of understanding...
Put on the armor of forgiveness...
Put on the armor of gratitude....
Lord Jesus, dress me in Your armor today. Amen
They say the eyes are the gateway to your soul
Revealing the dark side of my inner man
Constant contrast deep inside of me
I’m ready to release the beast
This world is not big enough to contain my presence
My energy is drained when people want to claim to understand my lonely walk in this so-
called life I live
Control is what they truly want to own
Enslaving the very essence, beauty, creativity that they were drawn to in the beginning
I’ll revert back to my ancestors and start a revolution on them
Denying them of the pleasure to capture my spirit
I arm myself with my automatic weapon, grenades and my shield
Reciting my mantra “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no
evil”
Ears ringing, my heart singing my precursors song “way in the water”
Bullets are tearing my enemies in half
Mutilated bodies are multiplying
Afraid of turning around to count my glorious victory
My arms are heavy
Broken glass shattered around
I hear a familiar voice crying
It is me my inner man
Spiritual warfare: Heaven or hell?
Spiritual warfare: Jesus will tell!
Spiritual warfare: Hope all is well!

Is not always out there
At times it’s within our sphere
He sits on the throne with an open ear
Waiting for you to meet him there
Spiritual warfare
Some may fear
Seek ye His face
Be blessed with His loving care
Believe in his love…none can compare
Meditate on His words
Develop wisdom in His kingdom
Cleanse the soul, thus—
Making one whole
He fills the least with untold gold
Ten thousand angels
Lifting one by the hands
Always believe in His plans
Spiritual warfare
Against God’s saints
Shall not stand!
