Oh! how it flies, the darting days
Of moth and insect in the summers haze
The always get-it-done time days
Within the fierce and glowing sunshine phase.
Oh! how it flies the gathering days
Picking, pulling, pleasing ways
Until the moment becomes the real,
The releasing the knowing
In the second when the Earth-mind hear.
And in the call of the heart
Loves all and Loves, all again
Sweeping the patterns of rain from them
Rivulets play to make new form shapes
And just like the sweet-briar Love escapes
Tumbling down and up and through
To remember You are all and all is YOU.
Writing cute with words of beaut
He lifts me up with prose,
Preaches words of wisdom
I ate when heard transpose.
For never wrong to sing a song
From heart with all good mind,
Hence often read all of his
Digest and then rewind...
To the start my eyes do dart
Restoring appetite,
Vision with optimism
Bringing much delight.
Spiritual poetry
Soothing sacred soul,
Admire and aspire..
To better is the goal.
Sad news about Winged Warrior
I just received word from the family of John Torchia, better known as Winged Warrior here on the soup, has passed away at the age of 61. He was fighting cancer and no one knew about it except for his family, and me. My last communication with John was about two months ago, he wanted to work on a Christian song together but he wasn't feeling well. He wanted me to let everyone on Poetry Soup know that he apologizes for not posting recently and not commenting as he normally does. I know he was beloved here for his deeply spiritual poetry, and his remarkable vocabulary, he truly loved writing and we all no doubt will miss him very much. I suspected something was wrong lately as he never responded to my phone messages or emails, it is with a heavy heart that I bear this sad news. RIP my friend....

Black Satin
Clouds of fascism, blocking out the light of diversity
Sheets of rain drowning out the voices of crusaders
Socialist artists with paint brushes and black paint,
White wash over the history between God and man
Enforcers try to use fear to drive the children of truth to dwell in
The catacombs
Declaring themselves to be master of the universe,
Set their thrones above the stars of the Creator.
Poring delusions of security, and grander into the wooden heads of all those puppet who allow their strings to be pulled.
Children of Truth, don’t find refuge in hiding in the catacombs
Be courageous, Shine the light of truth, in the strength of the Holy Spirit.
For there are many who are lost in the heavy black fog, who yarn to be lead to the kingdom of light.
Just as the morning dew melts by the afternoon, just as the grass withers
The kingdoms of the masters of the Universe will evaporate, as the true King’s kingdom will touch down on the earth.

Thirsty people pushes on hungry people who stands up with his food trying to orderly use it. But thirst cannot be won by anything else than pure water and pure water is missing. Hungry people, on the other end, knows well that one cannot survive of bread alone. It is a tragedy which goes beyond any hope.
Better than many words are only few
Better than words is intuition thought
Not all we see as picture is for true
To other things my mind is thus brought.
An image of poor world instantly I see
Looking for food and water all around
This pushes strongly what struggles me
Poverty is slavery and everywhere is found.
Bread isn’t enough to win the human need
There must be else for worth life receive
To a deepest culture man must then accede
And a spiritual poetry should too conceive.
Thirst needs good water, not a fancy drink
For simple habits help to poverty overcome
This naive rule forces us to strongly think
That a real equality of beings has to come.

All in AllMy Poetry on PoetrySoup
All in all, that Corruptible wall.
This is all what old clay bricks should be.
What protocols to stacking society?
Multicultural from A to Z.
One brick two brick three.
It is politics, propagandas, and rhetoric’s.
As which, all are called hypocrites.
It is all my eyes could see,
Them so called major Flaws and those minor Jim Crow Laws;
Abusing freedom, causing it to stop or suddenly pause.
One brick, two brick three.
Thus, this poem is called, all in all, but
Only God is, inconceivablelity.
