12 Snoopy scultures scattered around the city centre
to find in the sun
someone on facebook has spilled the beans
and revealed the location of 3 of them -
she has received an absolute backlash
some bloke wants to take part and drive up from kent
but we can't find the one and ask the young, bearded man in the hi-vis
he sends us over to the young, cologned-up man in the blue suit
he sends us down the escalator to the Paddington Bear bench
and we get there and leave a copy of Robert Burton's
The Anatomy of Melancholy next to Paddington,
eating his marmalade sandwich.
i whisper in his ear, 'good luck to you.'
the security guard and the blue-suited man begin to approach
we leave immediately.
It's a heart breaker
the rifting of wonder
when a giver of inspiration
takes the hidden treasure trove.
Answers the questions
yet to be asked.
The keeper of the secrets,
now lies stranded,
floundering and forgotten
on a distant foundered shore.
Marooned on an island
deserted and all alone.
The 'X' on the map was stolen-
read from over the shoulder.
The chest lies open,
the lock picked clean,
by a tongue
that spilled the beans.
For the cruellest thief
doesn't pick-pocket
the spoils.....
He tells you where
they're buried,
steals the search,
grabs the compass,
shovel and keys.
The spoils are his, indeed!
You've nothing left to do!

Live Free or Die
Live free or die!
Well, we’re all gonna die,
But living and dying free
Is obviously the way to go.
Freedom of speech
May be the root of all our freedoms
But it’s meaningless
If all we can do is parrot others.
Look around
The night sky is daylight bright now
From all the gaslighting we see streaming
From every pore of every mainstream media whore.
The blind are blind not from birth
But from having their heads buried in sand
For so long
They can’t tell up from down.
Nothing new under the sun
And Plato spilled the beans long ago
On the blind
In their caves of unknowing.
But the point is you have to see for yourself
To know the truth,
And as all truth knowers know,
Only the truth will set you free.

When were they going to tell us?
That they were thinking of contracting out our storage capacity,
With no longer need to store those unpleasant memories,
Or any awkward questions that we might still have floating around,
That might interfere with the progress of new technologies,
With fewer of our thoughts to interfere with the more sensitive equipment.
When were they going to tell us?
That research into this subject has been going on for years,
And the testing of suitable devices to move this plan forward,
Is well under way.
Why has nobody spilled the beans yet?
Maybe because it was always going to be a no brainer,
With every computer giving the same answer,
That no more money should be allocated to such a scheme,
And those who thought it up made redundant.
Did they not calculate,
The consequences of having so many brains in neutral at the same time,
Or were they just too busy calculating.
Either way I may have to rethink the value of computers
Until they too learn to be more calculating.
It was a tangled web they spun
their silken threads hid the truth
Weaving dark clouds to cover the sun
Preying on the innocence of her youth
It was a secret kept too long
They fed the fire with their lies
And muted the beauty of her song
The truth would surely shock and surprise
Then one day someone spilled the beans;
She found out she was an adopted child...
Finally the light was seen
The truth, untamed, was running wild
She could not hold back the tears
It came pouring out after all those years.

In the middle of the Universe I stand
Confusion reigned, mixed emotions overwhelmed
How could this happen to me?
Unjustified accusations, so called 'friends' had lied
A witch hunt collaboration by a mob
I try my best to hold my head up and not sob
Suffice to say I know it is not me
Who had spilled the beans, how could it be
Cold shouldered, realisation crept through my frame
So desperate now to clear my name
No-one wants to be my friend, so
In the middle of the Universe I stand.
The C.I.A. guy spilled the beans,
Quite possibly, in bed.
He should have stuck to sharing secrets
With his wife instead.
Since national security
Might really be at stake,
He had to quit when they found out,
For who can trust a snake?
Advice to all philanderers:
You shouldn’t take a chance
Of blabbing news that’s classified
When you’ve removed your pants!
