In the Middle of the Universe I Stand

In the middle of the Universe I stand

Confusion reigned, mixed emotions overwhelmed

How could this happen to me?

Unjustified accusations, so called 'friends' had lied

A witch hunt collaboration by a mob

I try my best to hold my head up and not sob

Suffice to say I know it is not me

Who had spilled the beans, how could it be

Cold shouldered, realisation crept through my frame

So desperate now to clear my name

No-one wants to be my friend, so

In the middle of the Universe I stand.
