Spicey Poems | Examples

The Early Autumn Breeze

The early autumn breeze carries with it the first hints of coolness of the coming winter

The green of the summer seems to change overnight to fiery reds, oranges and yellows as the beauty of the Father's creation inspires artists of all ages to set about making their own creations

The leaves begin falling from their lofty heights and gently flutter to the ground as the smell of baked goods, spicey gumbo and pumpkin spiced lattes fill the air with their goodness

Country Girl True

Laying here upon the
damp grass
Looking about at the
cattails
On a breeze the weeping
willow
trees musky sweet,
spicey smells

Silver threads weave through
the nights skies
while reflecting
off the turquoise colored
lake with misquotes
buzz interjecting

The moon a crescent shape
sits proud way up
above so high
Soon the sound of
an owl flies overhead as
I smile with a sigh

The beauty here on this night
in the quiet of this
country setting view
Makes me wonder why
I ever left
Country girl at heart
I am true

Sweet Spicey Whiskey

she wishes to bruise the ego
of the man she find easy to hate
then to destroy him with insults and curses
face to face she will stand to accomplish this goal
they found causation using her own vision of a future
to make right her feelings against him
the foreseeability of being angered by his words
she said they induce her to feel as if she is right
to curse and dispute his life
thru the known ability of being himself
maybe she does like him
and likes to argue and fuss with him so shee him
to be wear he is
to cause these things into being

it's a song about being right when being against a person.
it is to be made into song, first for music, and then
for the pride of both sides.
then in verse might this be made into a love song.
They bought whiskey and made it sweet with fruit
and spicey with spice
what did they expect when they drank it?

Premium MemberAnother Story of An Autumn Song

Autumn Sun shared
All are care free
Look it is there over the hills
Beyond the VALLEYS

LIFE is WORTH living unto the fun.
Love is DREAMY
A FORMAL ALLIANCE between WE
And the SUN

Fun is not yet DONE.
LIFE is SUPREME
especially esteemed
Have a better VIEW

Of the SpiCEy brew
SUN is nearly done
Night has nearly WON
A whistling WIND

FLUTTERING distant CHIMES
Sun soaked flowers send silent praises
The HORIZON rips the SKIES
A DELIGHTFUL fright of GLORY

The birth of a new Sun
Now a SPARKLING CLARITY
The sun begins again
Warming its EARTH

With a BOLD new day
At its BOSOM
A GRADUAL DRIFTING AWAY
AS a SYMPHONY PLAYS

an AUTUMN SONG
WHAT is a song but a STORY?

Finely chopped Basil atop red tomato bisque
A soup as fine as a sweet kiss from tender warm lips that risk

Licorice scent adorns lean beef and carrot stew
Like sweet surrender to a love that recently renewed

Green glowing chopped chives dancing in butter alive
Alluring adorable lover dance 'pon motion thrive

Tasty heavenly honey mixed with Cajun spice
A little sweet with spicey desire sexy sugar nice

Like food love tempts all senses and brings to them life
Romance steps softly to lead the way to taste spice twice

Premium MemberSoup Glorious Soup

There is so much soup, I wish I could eat
Amazing writers, I wish I could meet

Time is limited, I wish I could stay
I come to the soup, to have fun and play

I want to comment, on all that I read
Words give nourishment, provide what I need

Sometimes it's laughter, we all need a smile
I keep on reading, to find the right style

Maybe some spicey, is just what I need
I know the right place, I go there to read

I like Romantic, adventure as well
Even the sad ones, have me in their spell

Mostly the people, keep bringing me back
A big bowl of soup, is my daily snack

Thanks to all my new friends at the soup, I wish I had more time to read and comment on your amazing work.. Sometimes I feel bad when I can't get to visit with all of you. Not from lack of interst or caring. Simply lack of time. I appreciate the kindness I have been shown since joining and this poem is my tribute to all of you. have a wonderful day.
