Spaciousness Poems

Poetic meal

#Poetic_meal
Dining with words, its my daily enticing meal, the scrumptious juicy sauces, dripping all over my fingers, leaving me with much appetite to dip deeper, my fork and knife into this meal of creativity...

Could hear my intestine, groaning of ravenous intake, fueling my hands of vocabulary to dedicate much effort into this meal of mental nourishment...
My artistic arteries, chanting of thirst and I aiming higher than a mere quench, dilating much spaciousness, for the serving being way beyond just drinking and swallowing nor gnawing but influxing of varieties and intergration of creativity, some artistic manner of dining...

Shedding some radiant and illumination to ones psychological interest of art, beyond just seven colours of paints and brush sizes, painting a masterpiece of centuries of inspired poetic hormone, with my flooding poetic ink expressions. I am Poetic_Ink

(“Nonbinary”, 2023, original encaustic)

Who Are The Good Guys?

It’s a simple question and obvious assumption
But the “good guys” are always “us”
And not them.

And yet all around us, all the time
We see people changing sides
Growing up, becoming wiser, or more corrupt
But making a change, a conversion, a choice
To be themselves in new ways, or sometimes
Just their same old ways as others change.

But the assumption that we are always right
Yet in need of more skill in being right
Is what holds us back from something more.
And that something more
Is what awaits when all distinctions
Of us and them dissolve.

The ultimate OBE, not just out-of-body
But out of mind
And so, Samsara as well.
And when we are so delivered, what do we find?
Peace and spaciousness
And the face of the sacred, in everyone we see.

("Mind's Eye", 2017, original encaustic)

Mind’s Eye

Within the crystal palace
of mind’s eye
what is small is large
and large is small;
no distance separates objects,
nor time moments.

Instead everything is light
reflecting and refracting
endlessly in a hall of mirrors.

At play, mind delights
playing with itself
through the eyes of everyone.

Each moment just another
insubstantial wave of thought
washing, lapping, breaking
within the spaciousness of mind.

Spaciousness

Pay attention to the silence
The pause right before words are spoken
The future exists in that holy space

Pay attention to the pause
The second of stillness before you draw your next breath
Your life exists in the gratitude of that moment

Pay attention to the spaces
The brief breaks between action and non-action
Your soul hangs in the balance of that time

Do not be like the crowd
Running from one moment to the next
Without silence
Without pause
Without space
And missing the whole point of existence

Honor the silence
Praise the pause
Celebrate the space

They are your life

Premium MemberWhy We Are Here

Why are we here?
my oppositional daughter
defiantly asks.

Because we're not over there?
her appositional dad
too often
and frustratingly
responds.

Sogyal Rinpoche writes
"To embody the transcendent
is why we are here."
I doubt my daughter
would find this more satisfactory,
sounds like more patriarchal malfactory.

Echeopnir Laygos has another impression,
To embody cooperative economic empowerment
and political win/win enlightenment
is why liturgy,
communion,
and transcendent meditation
are here.

So,
embodying Earth's transcendent unity
is also how we are here;
but this too
would not satisfy my daughter's constant questions
about why and how,
I fear.

Other

i would run, as fast as the wild river,
if i ever had the chance. haphazardly,
i would tear forward into nothingness,
never looking down, tripping up on
the razor sharp stones, feet cut up and
bleeding. i would never be one of them.
the family of shame, scotch and sex.
of silence and isolation, fury and red-faced
screaming. i never understood what they
demanded of me, so i was never anyone
they wanted. yet i carried their mark, the
stamp of having come from some impossible
horror. unable to belong to even That….
i, on my wooden swing, would stare off
into the tall eucalyptus, praying that i
would disappear, or become someone else’s
child. or i would gaze into the clouds,
wishing to live and dance in pink silk
shoes in their light, airy spaciousness,
like a princess of peace and beauty…..

I Love Poem-Sermons

DEDICATION: To Paul : Tristich Series
I
Out of uttermost, depths, disappointments, baby deaths ...
We have forgiven God, the forgiveness He began in spaciousness
Our suffering is the portal to discovery: Abba-Father suffered Eden's losses

II
If we have any heirs, they'll welcome us in heaven alongside Jesus
And Trinity loved Eve as dearly as They did Adam, yet parted with Yeshua
To get more sons and daughters; Isaiah sang "It pleased God to crush Him

III
This is why we can face a spouse, loss after loss: heirs, land, home
Suffering is the only portal to take us beyond suffering: like sin, alluvial gold!
Easy to find, preciously, invaluably turning us away from here to there: my Home

I Love Space Without Start and Grace Without End

DEDICATION: PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP AND THE USA.

For spacious skies, from His Spaciousness
For amber waves of grain
Wave upon wave of graciousness
The Gap, the "Emptiness," think again -
Emptiness is not empty (Formless Bounty!)
There is more space than things
In spite of our never-ending yearnings
More space than things in space: Glorious Grace!
Purple mountain majesties
Beauty, grace, treasures, glory ... without end
Crown thy good, each neighborhood
Grace without end
Humanity can't stop at our seas
Space without beginning
The origins of America, Grand Old USA
Jesus-Yeshua came down, down, down ...
To touch our marred divine humanity
I will walk as He: ever-present, oozing forgiveness, AND ATTENTION

Senryu Series: Haiku20180622

I. words grasp, bare, at truths
"I AM," says more of BEING
than "I am the Leader."

II. mornings and nights
I gaze at skies - not for stars:
"Welcome Spaciousness!"

III. a tree, orchids prosper
in deepest forest. Perhaps better ...
when fawn or human bear witness

IV. Not hearing, seeing forest flora, tree ...
Did they bloom ... fall? Does the once-extinct
IVORY BILLED gain Presence when I see?

At Night

At night the sky may be blank
Blank sky after heavy rains holds lessons for me
Could it have been wispy clouds, not quite dark at 3 in the dark?
Dark clouds contribute shapes, form, karma
Even when stars hide, a night sky speaks of Spaciousness

Nebula

shaking rhythm
like stylus pen on punctured paper,
I move to move my Self
in silent form across the slippery
sanctuary of being.

being is the only thing that hurts
when time turns to dust and rusts
in space between mattress and floor

yet- what is space anyway?
but a hundred billion atoms in between
you and I-
when once it felt like none

when once it felt as if only separation
was our skin bagged bodies between our souls
and eternity softly kissing the crevice of a second.

but now… just shaking rhythm-
shaking, silent, spaciousness from
one withering star to another-
ebbing light licking itself from the atmosphere
with nothing to keep it warm
but the nebula to our next life.

Emptiness Occupying Whole House!

A mansion of little dreams with big hearts
Smiling faces seen to all the bypassers there
A night of evil vanquished the honest larks
Who knew the pain will penetrate to walls.
Merciless killings just for pieces of jewels
Even a two year innocence gasped but vain
Humanity was dressed with devilish mask
Crossed all boundaries leaving just red mark.
Leaps and bounds time has though passed
Still the spaciousness of rooms shout aloud
No one wishes to visit the silently dying house
Emptiness filled with voices of wicked disguise.
Brightly colored walls faded away with time
No soul capable enough to renew it back to life
The starkness of house takes place in and out
No being to claim a Flat named Home of love.
Emptiness fills images about history of house
Making it no more adorable place to reside
The hearts who laid it with true care died
Leaving just a shuderring base - without life
