We Killed All the Butterflies

I stood in the middle of a rose garden
I watched nature map out its own pattern
I quietly listened out for the budding
And heard the sound of a bee buzzing

I stood in the middle of a rose garden
I saw withering evened out by blossom
I sought after a floating flutter
I sought after the wings of a flower

What could be missing in this scenic botany?
Aroma and beauty is not the only expectancy
It feels like a beauty parlour without hairdressers
It feels like a sweet flavor without taste-testers

The greeter of the flower buds
The day watch of rosariums
The symbol of a warm welcome
Is in the romance of a butterfly

Daylight misses their soundless claps
Daylight misses their flight
We clipped their colorful flaps
When we killed all the butterflies

My Dear Woman

The hunger within
She spoiled herself with fame and insecurity
But when its stripped its empty.
No its not promiscuity.
Its a lackthereof.

The list goes on
For men of meantime shelters
For boys of tussled sheets and misdemeanor
Even when she’s not looking, it comes to her
Guilt is her misfire. Regret’s her token

Being sought after a crooked star
She has not become amassed
A beautiful broken thing with a destructive nature
Dear Woman, nobody’s ever in favor.

The new things she chased..
Kept her running back home with another broken piece
It will never fit. It Never heals
She is out of control. Never had a heart of steel.

She is lost but still wandering.
She looks for her when she has always been herself all along.
Now she wakes up gazing.
She have grasp acceptance, fear and life
Then she will go on... and start again.

False Friend Betrayal and Loss

Another eccentric façade flows decadence
Beside yourself with a quaint mockery
Counting blessings you sought after a hummingbird life
Do the scars that you cherish set you free?
Escaping your feeble yet cynical pestilence
For my exuberance is tainted by thee
Go drink from the lake and drown your horses with shame
Hallowed by harlots they're cursing your name
Insanity sane insane sanity
Justified in lost memory
knock down the wall
Lose your mind and go soar
Many years waiting to wait many more
No one will speak your name
Once you are showered in shame
Please know I have lost a dear friend
Queensberry rules or a fight to the end
Roam the depths of mind
Share with me what you find
Time is no fortress
Undo all the lies
Versatility does not make you kinder my life
Why don't you twist the blade in my back from your knife
X-rays for my cancerous self
You have dissuaded with presence and stealth
Zeal for you is an expression of hate.
