A Snowy Day in April

It was only a sprig
of red berries poking through
a mantle of snow.
But something in their quiet defiance—
so small, so sure, so bold—
stopped me in rushing mid-stride,
as if beauty had broken
some sealed place inside me,
and light, unbidden,
had found a way in.


The world went quiet around me
except for the whispered ticking
of snow melting on my coat.

Upon a snowy midnight

in the stillness of the night
silence hovers
and in its cocoon
envelops me
it could swallow me
and i'd disappear
it feels like not
a soul would notice

Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening

The silent snow drifts soft and deep,
A silver hush on bending trees,
The frozen lake lies still in sleep,
Its heart unbroken by the breeze.

The moonlight spills in trembling white,
White scattered pearls upon her breast.
And all the world dissolves in light,
A place where time is lost then found.

No whispered call, no footstep near,
Only the hush of winter's

Snowy Day

Snow falls and day light dims
As the snow get so thick that it covers my Rims.
As the sun goes down we play around,
Snowball fights and as the day loses light.

I was delighted in reading many voices,                           Those voices were stated by various poets,               

February Is Short, Cold, Snowy, And Pristine

I love the month of February,
The shortest and coldest month of the season,
For an array of personal reasons.
And yet, it feels like Feb is the longest,
For the events that happen haphazardly,
Amidst treacherous winter storm blasts.
Quasi everything is frozen and solid near the nest
Of the American bald eagles,
Except the Mardi Gras masks under the rumbles.

The Snowy Climb

I remember her quite clearly
As if only yesterday,
In my mind I loved her dearly
But she was miles and miles away.

Up there above the tree line
Where only pure beauty can go, 
And no one like me could ever be 
Beside her in the snow.  

Where she walked with grace upon her face 
As if smitten

Wind blows
Breath froze

Winter's Praise

Every thought grew quiet,
As the flakes fell across the hills.
The mountains seemed to promise –
A winter wonderland was guessed.

Every moment fell silent,
As the wind blessed with prayers
For those of us who rely on –
The gentleness of God’s grace.

Every joy spread stillness,
As the white of winter smiled,
Coloring the hills in sensations –
Amazing, so we feel like

Poetries, like grace, write memoirs
The night sounds like a shadow’s song
Listening to rhythms who belong

Snowy Night

The roses are gone
They have decayed
Now I'm alone
I am Afraid.
The violets have left 
Because they're too sad
From the loss
Which they have had.
They miss the roses
Now they cry tears
Each drowning slowly
In their sea of fears.

A rose and a violet
Who once had it all
Whose connection was strong
Whose love had grown tall.
Then came a day
Someone killed the rose

Summerwind at night
Cold November rain
Lights are burning bright
Leaves are green again
Where are you my dear
Can you see me now
Cause I see you near
Close to me somehow 
Summerwind comes down
Blowing me away
See my leaves turn brown
In this snowy day.
