i'm in bed
each thump of the dart
hitting the cork
in the darkness
my heart quickens
and death envelopes.
time and waiting for dawn
suddenly the ear buds disconnect
there is a thud
another one
then another
my wife is disturbed by the racket
the announcement yowled of '180' wakes her
galaxative

Who are you to take my rights
and have me live each day in fright?
We are all born the same in God's delight
why must you be smug materially, while I have to daily fight?
Laws remain the same in day, night and twilight
why ignore them to make me and others uptight?
Human Rights shine for us just like a streetlight,
A tiny beacon of warmth that makes everything alright!
So please stop your onslaught like a snakebite,
The future is ours together, let us not miswrite.
Hand in hand we are one, a shipwright,
and to all the other children of the world, we invite...
To standup, embracing the light,
to do what is simply and forever right.

The skin pricked, eyes fill with the tears which instantly vaporize.
The blood, too, stops and the hole is no more seen for its small size.
By no means is the pain so great as to cause loud shouts and cries.
This is all a dead needle does. A bee's sting differs a bit.
Though the wound is invisible, the tears in our eye show it;
Our wailing goes on, we run, stop, writhe, lie down, roll, stand and sit.
May no one ever be bitten by a scorpion or a snake!
The venom hits the heart at once and then our life is at stake.
The whole part round the stung point swells. We’re driven mad by the ache!
The victims then die once for all or they are cured right away.
None falls prey to paralysis to suffer day after day
As the consequence of snakebite. We die or, treated, we stay.
I am dumb to describe men's sting since I'm benumbed by its pain.
I just say it cripples for life and it renders one's life vain.
Though we breathe, we're dead and no more can we rise to live again.

I am a snake, I slither around
I slither quite often; fast on the ground
Sometimes I hide inside of a mound
but the land isn't the only place that I can be found
for if you look up and look at me,
hiding in a great big tree,
shiny green eyes is what you will see
and a big wide smile, with fangs of glee!
However, there's no need for fright
For I won't attack you when there's light
But if you really want to test my might
I can show you a true snakebite!
Some of us rattle, some of us hiss
being a snake feels like bliss.
So be smart, be safe, and be aware
To not be careful, will end in a scare!

C-heerful September ten
Y-our friends always remember;
N-ight cold chill has turned
T-o pleasant warm weather.
H-appy September ten
I-s just bringing brighter day;
A-fter the rain has gone, gray clouds clear the skyway.
J-oyful September ten
A-llows the morn to break;
V-ery nice comforting breeze
I-s relieving the heartache.
E-njoyable September ten thrills your heart and mind;
R-apture is truly brought to leave the bummer behind.
C-heerful September ten
O-ffers a million mirth;
N-ever ever shall it cause
S-ome sadness to your birth.
I-mmeasurable pleasure
G-ives a hundred delight;
N-ever ever shall it carry
A-nother unwelcome snakebite.
D-awn denies the darkness, making you feel seventh heaven;
O-pen your life to celebrate cheerful September ten.

M-ake it more meaningful,
A-s you write or say a word;
R-ighteousness of God
K-ills the sin like a two-edged sword.
L-et it be more meaningful,
E-very line you recite;
O-ne serpent's head is pinned, one sheep has on his heel a snakebite.
L-et it be more meaningful,
O-n conveying the message;
G-reatest love on earth
R-equires one to tear his own page.
O-n July tenth early morn,
N-ice wisdom feeds one's soul;
I-ntelligent information is gained,
O-nce you make it more meaningful.

dark they were
tanned from a thousand suns
gamma-burned
cross generat'd
double chromosomed
time meant nothing
bled out minutes in a cup
my double stares at me from Mars
etched into sand and time
blur and cast lensatic whoa
sharp telescopic view
panoramic whoopdeedoo
all my light focused pinpoint dew
cascades down deliberate holes
I fill them with concern and woe
over fill'd
bursted with eccentric cinders
and I wake to rough tongues
stray cats and regret
both licking my face
in cool dustbins
filled with rubbish
left behind in an alley
shedding retail and hope
and there's no sound
like rain on soiled concrete
and eons of starlight
fall on temporary hands...

SNAKEBITE
Was a day I saw a deer
Running up a hill
On his tail there was a lion
Running faster still
Then I saw a purple bird
Flying in the sky--
Didn’t see the sneaky snake
who bit me in the eye!
Clouds call me to see the sky
Find dragons if I stare
I like to do this on soft grass
While balancing a chair.
I swing until the tree is sad
And fly to neighbors’ yards
I squash their ripe tomatoes
And flatten body guards
I am always looking up
Or peering down the hall
That is why I stumble
And down the stairs I fall
Why can’t I remember?
My thoughts should never stray
I need to look around me
When it’s time to play

Just an ounce of that snakebite I took;
I feel better now -- I can write.
My thoughts are inking out,
oozing out of the dry heart with efforts,
Like an 'would-be' mother pushing her baby out.
A little ounce of that stuff --
That made my head turning gyroscopically
Making heaven and earth messy --
Like a top, spinning in indistinguishable colors.
Just a little ounce of that stuff --
That made me bold and write shamelessly.
Am I impulsive;
Am I a poet?
'Misconception', should I call it.
A poet is not grown out of the rubbish pile
Of impulsive words.
A poet is a civilization in itself;
An insightful glance into seeing what others miss out.
He/ she knows the science of writing
That dips down into the human hemisphere
Of raw ingredients, forming life and history.
Poetry is a diary of wisdom,
Rejects fantasy and reforms life.
So, I simply wish --I were a poet?

I was listening to electronic music,
And i could see peaks and troughs of the beats,
With my mind hand i reached out and caught it,
A real live wire,
Then i recoiled in shock,
An electric bite from the thousand year snake.

Brown eyes as mysterious as the meaning of life
Purple hair as wild as the blistering winter's wind
Skin as olive as the oak wood's bark
Voice as chilling as the halloweens fright
Rare smiles that creep across her face as unexpected as a surprise
Snakebite peircings upon her bottom lip as tempting as a blissful kiss
Energy as uncontrolling as her oppionated mouth
Imagintaion as unlimited as life's possiblities
Disturbing past that still holds her back as heart wrenching as losing your own innocense
Chains and studds don't make her what she is
The color black doesn't define what she is or what she believes in
Her desire is not to fit into a little labeled box
