I Am a Snake

I am a snake, I slither around I slither quite often; fast on the ground Sometimes I hide inside of a mound but the land isn't the only place that I can be found for if you look up and look at me, hiding in a great big tree, shiny green eyes is what you will see and a big wide smile, with fangs of glee! However, there's no need for fright For I won't attack you when there's light But if you really want to test my might I can show you a true snakebite! Some of us rattle, some of us hiss being a snake feels like bliss. So be smart, be safe, and be aware To not be careful, will end in a scare!
