The Evidence

When asked if he toked the evil weed,
William Jefferson Clinton (né?Blythe III),
aka, Bill Clinton, we heard, did indeed,
if not totally beyond the pale
these words he spoke,
"I smoked but didn’t inhale,"
and altho' with no proof, yet by the book,
with that he was off the hook.

Then came Monica Lewinsky,
their relationship he lied to hide,
accused with obstruction of justice,
for him to be impeachment-free,
with the mess all down her dress,
the chain of evidence was there to follow,
of the fateful day Bill only had to say,
"She sucked but didn't swallow."

Premium MemberShe Smoked

She smoked

She smoked,
my mother did, a LOT!
I never liked it.
To me she looked like
of those “molls” in
detective magazines,
later on television,
cigarette dangling
from the corner
of her mouth
acrid smoke
curling up (she didn’t inhale)
choking the air
as she played cards
or worked
at her desk.

To be sure,
there were “issues”
between husband and wife.
Mid-Great Depression
Dad out of work
or out of town for work
alone with
kids to manage
clothe and feed
with what?
So she smoked.

Small family Jewish
grocer let bills run up.
Smoking a comfort?
Housedresses, nothing new,
shoes needed for kids.
Teeth bad, pull them.
Children need dental care.
Sharp tongue cutting
no whining
“Just get on with it”.
Hurt, not understanding
we sulked. She smoked

Smoking and smoking
taking in relatives
with lost jobs, lost homes,
sick or in need, managing somehow
depressed (never admit it)
feeling put down,
frustrated, underrated
and underappreciated
never accomplished anything
worthwhile with her
college degree.
But, in her own way,
a saint in a housedress
Smoking away the grief.

Premium MemberThe Chiefs Got Smoked

Patrick Mahomes and his boys all choked
When they went up against the Eagles, they got smoked.
The winning team in the Super Bowl earns a coveted trophy.
It's named in honor of the late Vince Lombardi.
The Kansas City team was gunning for number three.
However, that scenario was just not to be.
It was all due to Jalen Hurts and his company.
Super Bowl fifty-nine is now a part of history.
The Eagles from Philadelphia won the victory.

i smoked a cigarette and left the city behind

I asked the owl:
“What is love?”
She said to me:
"Ask God."

I asked God:
“What is love?”
He said:
“Ask your wife.”

I asked my wife:
“What is love?”
She replied with a smile:
«Ask the owl»

I smoked a cigarette and left the city behind.

J’ai demandé à la chouette :
« Qu’est-ce que l’amour ? »
Elle m’a dit :
« Demande à Dieu. »

J’ai demandé à Dieu :
« Qu’est-ce que l’amour ? »
Il m’a répondu :
« Demande à ta femme. »

J’ai demandé à ma femme :
« Qu’est-ce que l’amour ? »
Elle m’a répondu en souriant :
« Demande à la chouette »

J’ai fumé une cigarette et ai laissé la ville derrière moi.

Four Four Right

The I trois1:01 men-nuts long
The first time they s collaborate
Bunch used both electric and
traditional instruments in a fusion
Of we. The origin of togetherness.
Lying to one group to increase the
Interest of another. Making specticails
Of fools, while patting the back and ass
Of the other. When the neglected bunch
Sought redemption, they called to familiar things, familiar situations they joined together. Without guidance men struggle. With those who have been neglected in aeomans compatibility they used stories of more attractive people
Beyond the muck and dirt, who speaks kinder? When she needs me, what until then. Yes says enough. Tomorrows lover, yesterday's man. RowOne Seat One!, The Lute, The Oboe, and the Chello
. Woman Drawers, her panties! The Next Morning
Sumthangs Specail. Grungy Groove. Ah Ooh: ah ooh!
These were the titled for bassy stringed marinaded meatez. The right thang at the right time. Music for lovers!

A Bacon Flavored Poem For My Sweet, Hickory Smoked Friend

you never changed
you have always stayed the same
i just want to thank you
i am not used to the acceptance
days turned into months
months turned into years
though we have never met,
my heart still smiles at your every reply

it would have been nice to feel you in my arms
it would have been nice to taste every end and hole of you
it would have been nice to experience being liked by you
it would have been an honor to experience being loved by you
however, change can oftentimes be a merciless foe
however and nevertheless,

you never changed
you have always stayed the same
i will always appreciate you
i will always be a friend to and for you
i will forever be your dear diary if ever and whenever you need one
years turn into decades
decades turn into lifetimes
my heart will Allways smile at your every reply.....
.....even if we never meet in heaven.....

Smoked Surprise

Smoked Surprise!

Basking in new found love, just like a pair of swans,
To sweep him off with her delish delight was the plan!
Baking, making, waiting,
Din’t know when went dozing!
She bolted in a cloud of smoke and at the door was a fireman!

Half Smoked Cigarettes and a Bottle of Bourbon

She awake with a gasp,
"Hope I didn't blow all my cash."
She looks to the usually empty side of the bed,
Only to discover there is another head
Hidden in the tangled mess of covers
The long brown hair of an unknown lover.
Quietly she looks for a robe to drape
Gently over her barren legs,
But she quickly realizes nothing is the same.
This isn't her bed, but the stranger who lay sleeping.
"How do I sneak out, what is she hears my creeping?"
She makes an escape plan for the door.
First things first, get my clothes off the floor,
Along with my dignity and most of my pride.
Even though, I could leave it all here,
I know I'll be doing the same thing again tonight.

Belching wicked gasses bloat
Smoking stacks cough inside-out
Industries non-stop
Burning fuel around the clock
Boot black soot covers all skies!

Humpty Dumpty Smoked Out

Huffy Puffy had a smoke

Huffy Puffy had to choke

All the king’s doctors and all the king’s men

Couldn’t put Huffy Puffy’s lungs together again.

Smoked Dawn

Night after Days and Days after Nights
Romancing the Wish,
Your angel touch will soothe my skin

But the Moon and Clouds and Stormy Sun
They bring in Lust and Fear
And it never happens, I never win

Wake in the morning with a withering hope
Rise out of bed
What faces of yours will I see today?

Tomorrow, the potential smolders
Smokes all the words,
And I am left alone with nothing to say

Glass Smoked Refraction

Hey feather flick of wondrous need
Gossam dancing faded wonder
Floating frantic whispers freed
Pushing clouds of shadow under
Bringing light to intercede
In this an endless space of ether
Swirling twirling mocking fate
Where were you thirty years or more
Slamming shut this dewy door
Of promises and mirrored smoke
Wouldst I could tell this cosmic joke
That aged wine has better taste
A sweet aside young maiden fair
Enjoy the ride and dare to care
For memories will never waste
So make a few to share
