As great as the stars they said
As fast as lightning they saw
From dusk till dawn he practices
Through the golden hour his blade shines brightly
Like the reflection of the moon on water
He spars continuously as if he knows no time
Like a waterfall his hair cascades as dark as the night
He wields his sword with great power
In the village he's praised for his achievements
An agile man willing to die for his people
As beautiful as her name Jasmine sounds she soothes his sparring wounds which he treats as his trophies
With his dears by his side his enveloped in family love
The greatest samurai, the greatest father and husband
He was the legend...
Not only birds and angels have wings, so do you and I. We can soar.
The window of opportunity; once seemingly limitless
Now appears to be gloomy and hopeless
The aspirations and dreams disguised as the truth..
Are these just lies that reside in his own mind?
No proof, no action..just an attempt to appease and distract him
The window of time; once an absolute eternity
Is now running out in quite a hurry
Pursuing dreams is similar to that of running on a treadmill;
At the highest speed; there will not be enough endurance to actually achieve
Yet, if too slow; no chance for progression, no chance to grow
However; with a perfect balance of: talent, aggression, and humility..
Add a bit of: water, composure, and consistency
And, of course, a sprinkle of belief..and there is the recipe to succeed
The window behind; once hardly noticeable..
Evidently someone or something opened the blinds
..perhaps it was just time
For the window behind; once hardly visible..
Now gives reason to be rejoiceful; for it seems to be the single window in which one is actually ahead of ones dreams
"DENTIST"
I called to make an appointment,
it was for a deep cleaning.
"Friday at 8AM please," I said.
"Alright, Friday at 8 it is."
Friday came and soon I found
myself in the chair of doom.
"Alright Eddie, ready for your cleaning?"
I put my earphones in and laid myself back.
the cleaning was a success.
"All done, luckily you caught this gum
disease in time. now we can keep
watch every three months
instead of six. you'll have your teeth
until you are old and gray."
the dentist smiled and walked me to
the exit.
it was in that moment, I realized
I paid $500 to prolong the proper
timing of my teeth falling out.
I guess I can't complain too much,
I got a free toothbrush.

Loving you brought the best in me
Loving you took out the lost soul that was within
Oh your smile brought the interception of my believe and true reflection of a woman
Loving you made my guiltiness of confusion to be the innocence of the future
Loving you is happiness and laughter
Oh love, my loving solution to brightness morning
That turn to a good day filled with love and honesty
Loving you, yes loving you
It made my life free like a free way of challenges that turn to better outcome
Loving you make me free my mind-set of emotional success
Loving you make me meet loving circumstances that turn to visions of true dreams
I overcome obstacles easily just by loving you
Loving you give me hope of trusting again
Loving you give me peace like summer rain
Oh yes loving you
Loving you is like music on top of the pops
Loving you, oh loving you
Loving you, loving you
If finding yourself means going it alone,
You shouldn’t—a fact that is painfully plain.
Need is a naturally human bemoan,
A collaboration helps you remain, a
Friend to those who also have needs to atone.
I'm clearing a path, a push straight ahead,
Sailing stress free in my life stem to stern.
Right where I should be, clarity widespread,
Behind me no wake or substantive churn.
Like all things in life from which one must glean,
A period of time flowing under
Bridge where it is swept quite far out to sea,
Over vastness like far distant thunder
Troubled and troubles, mere seconds they flee
Water healing life’s fires placed asunder.
I promise you one fact I now cherish
Will power alone is power itself, so
Ease your mind with the faith you’ll not perish
Your success assured, fear placed on the shelf
Mind over matter, peace you’ll inherit.
