I found the Jacaranda blue

I fell off the staircase
A tree wrapping around its trunk
Birds gliding through the ocean
Teastall offering free of charge

North Korea and the USA
On a toast with Scotch whiskey
What's your name, someone says?
I was staring at the tree leaves

Then a gentle voice emerged
Under the sun, my supreme choice
I found the Jakaranda blue
As in a haze, I came to

Did you do it intentionally
Sigmund Freud on the wall

Frosty and Rudolph needed some quick cheer
And they went to the local bar for beer
Rudolph's nose went pale white
Frosty soon yelled in fright
As he watched yellow snow below appear

Sigmund the elf on the shelf was mad
He was recently careless and bad
When he jumped down off the hutch
No one seemed to miss him much
Instead, he was soon replaced, so sad

Santa decided to change his suit blue
And thought he now looked all dapper and new
But his reindeer flew right by
With his sleigh now in the sky
They thought he was an imposter, who knew

My Yin and my Yang are at odds with one another
I place the blame for my Oedipus Complex squarely on the shoulders of my mother
I cannot be held responsible for the mistakes I make each day
The flaws in my character are baked into my DNA.

Maslow's Hierarchy establishes priorities from which I cannot change
My interpretation of Rorschach's inkblots suggest I am deranged
I respond to certain stimuli much the same as Pavlov's dog
I hear voices from inside my head but cannot follow the dialogue.

Schrodinger's cat may be dead or alive, the same is true for my libido
Sigmund Frued would say that is because my Id is subservient to my Super-Ego
I am sorry but our time is up, according to the clock upon the wall
You integrated some of my personalities, but you did not get them all.

Premium MemberCathexis

Psychic energy that is misspent on an idea,
perhaps an object, and often on a person,
is referred to as a cathexis, an action
to satisfy an urge or need that can worsen.

In his explored psychoanalytical theory
of personality disorders, Sigmund Freud
theorized about this rather unhealthy drive
in which a life can be hindered or destroyed.

He believed that psychic energy is found
within the id, the ego, and the superego
The id directs a person's most basic needs,
deviating reality, but just how far will it go?

To satisfy the fanatic compulsion it craves
it can throw someone's energy into disarray,
This personality disorder is totally cognitive,
borderline psychotic, leading the mind astray.

Ego cathexis is a median nature of narcissism
causing a break down of stored up emotions.
Anger may occur, irrational to say the least,
often filling the brain with devious notions.

Premium MemberYou, Are Not a Psychiatrist

Don't use psychoanalysis on poetic friends!
You have no degree, and you never spent even one hour
with them, personally.

If you possess no degree, or never worked in psychiatry,
Be their friend, stop being Dr. Sigmund Freud.
Be a friend, unequivocally!

A poem is an expression of a poet's heart in rhyme.
Analyze the poem, not the poet.....
Better to accept and to love them in real time!

Premium Member- Six Relatives -

Six relatives
shell upon shell of relationships
Each layer has its function
Even hens keeps the family in order

My sister Lina and I
are completely different
only a leaf thin wall
separates the laughter from the tears
She is hypersensitive
but incredibly friendly and caring

Frank my brother is my best friend,
he's dear to talk to
We likes to spend
many hours together every day
A special friendship that lasts a lifetime

Aunt Astrid and Uncle Sigmund
is always to be trusted in thick and thin
although I have barely seen them in five years

Sofie and Silje are twins
and my cousins
Have you ever met
someone who never stops talking
They talk all times,
whether they gets an answer or not
Humorous remarks, they are incredible
Gives everything of itself, own experiences,
personal anecdotes, memories and observations
Lots of bubbles and laughter

Some times I wonder on the coincidences in life
We depend on each other, and we need each other
Although we are completely different

You Earned It

According to Sigmund Keeple
Bad things happen to good people
The Karma rule
Whacks the cruel

Shrinks Beware Karma

I
here lie the remains of savior-imposters
lots of canned answers from textbooks
they knew: peace & reconciliation will be their ruin
so, divorce or hate, were prolonged a tad
shrinks who didn't show you peace and reconciliation ...
until you'd paid their bank loan first!

II
here lie the greedy bones of quacks (OK, not quite)
like Sigmund Freud their father, for eyes: "holes"
That saw the complex world through sexual roles
Just like horoscope peddlers, these too got it right -
generally - who has use for generalities with abortion?

Small gauge large sound
could be trivia profound

Stations and shunters
red lights for the punters

Small member large auto
mobile cars pars pro toto

In silly banter we trust
French letters a must

But remember the other
Freud had a mother

In Victorian Vienna he toiled
his thoughts rather soiled

In mind he bonked on the couch
dirty old man sought to debauch

Those wicked rationalizations
what a treat for all nations

Kill thy father bonk thy pother
plenty of perversity to smother

So deliriously stupid it seems
it is all in all in those dreams

Yet morbid mortality calls
when the man stumbles and falls

He walked a tight sleezy rope
cocaine was his grand old dope

When the wicked go mad
it culminates bad and sad

High volume tiny shackles
still nonsense’s trifle crackles

All quiet again at the libido check out
Sigmund is dead long live the doubt

Premium MemberFreudian Slip

A poet's soul lay in slumber,
his pen a distasteful adversary.

A suffering soul lost in yesterday,
stumbled upon his somnolent path.
Enchanted eyes felt her nakedness
through barriers of her cryptic veil.
Echoing tremors of her broken soul
gently charmed his hardened heart.
Enraptured by her enchanted tears
he joined her capricious journey.

Her enigmatic elegance inspired his
zealous zealot pen to ooze musings
praising their charismatic camaraderie.

Drifting into the anomaly of her mind,
he became a victim of a Freudian slip.
Voices tormented her malinger mantra,
suffocating her into a maudlin malaise.

Reprehensible words led to bruised ego,
unjustifiable actions led to lonely silence.

An aroma that expired with her last petal.

A poet's soul lays in slumber,
his pen a distasteful adversary.

My Favourite Footbridge

At the footbridge day and night
Dreams meet and dreams avoid
The footbridge is never annoyed
Smiles Sigmund Freud

At this end the highway
At the other the park
Connects the two contrast
The footbridge smiles in the dark

Dreams in the dark chamber
The fountains turn and toss
Listening to the footfall chaos
The footbridge I walk across

Hurry up says the red bird
The police inspector is there
I run across the footbridge
To my easy chair

On one side the blood and dust
On the other your restless bird
The footbridge one has to trust
To bear the world very hard
