My husband and I love to travel
And in cities we like to explore –
Museums and zoos
And places with views,
Plus gardens and markets galore.
We wander down street unfamiliar;
Try restaurants that we don’t know
And sometimes we chat
About where we’re all at
With some locals we’ll meet as we go.
Yet today, a few subway stops took us
To a cool park that we’d never seen
And I felt, I must say,
Just like we were away,
Getting out of our normal routine.
There are treasures so often forgotten
In the cities where we rest our heads
And we needn’t go far
To get to where they are
And still sleep in our own cozy beds!

Day after day for decades,
away the ocean waves wash
the Apostles pieces by pieces.
Hours by hours some projects
drain people's time and energy bits by bits.
Now, only 6+ Apostles left
Standing there smiley.
Who knows what has been going on
In that head under that beanie.
Does Australian feel sorry
For the Apostles gone missing?
I don't know.
Does any1 miss that stubborn person though?
Only time can tell.
33 bits 45 goodbye,
66 hardly spares the words "good night".

He took me sightseeing
Hand in hand
Smiling bright
Eyes for each other
To the city of his dreams
Navigating the twists and turns of the streets
Awed by the sights and sounds
The majestic buildings
Their architectural splendour
Where history whispers
And echoes through its corridors
We stopped by a quaint cafe
Enriched by the experience of it all

I would rather drive then fly and enjoy the sights of five states then to see it from the sky as little specks like ants

The hint, if not suspicion
That we, and this life
As something theatrical
Do indeed approach
Apart from formal dress ups
Party's, dance's, date's
Arose, one fairytale eve
Upstepping Love's coach.

Out sightseeing in an old town one day
Casually strolling passing many shops and sites
I suddenly passed a bar window
And what I saw gave me a thrill and I saw a great site
For there perched on a stool pretty and pert
Was the most gorgeous girl
With a very short skirt
That rode high
Giving me a lovely view of her stocking tops
Long legs and lovely thigh
She was talking to a guy
I casually walked back and forth
Past the window around half a dozen times
Just to make sure they were alright
Had a great day that day and saw a few sites
That stuck in my mind when I got home that night
But I could have kicked myself you see
Just my luck to see one lucky guy
I wished was me.
